Well, their "demise" as you put it, was being forced to look for other options. I don't agree with what MS did, and I totally understand why Mac users did what they did. I just hope people learn from their mistakes (and that of others) so they don't make the same mistake again. Unfortunately evidence points to the contrary.
BTW, how do you know what I am able to imagine or not? You don't know me (clearly). And talk about morality generally makes me, well.. not want to talk anymore. So, good day to you sir!
Yeah, maybe, but you can hardly argue that not supporting Office for the Mac was illegal, anti-trust wise. MS was not a monopoly back then (quite the contrary), so this was a valid business strategy. Mac users were foolish enough to become locked into a specific vendor at a moment that they did have various other options, office-wise.
The evil thing here is, of course, that whilst you not agree to the new terms, the app (or whatever) is still updated and then disabled rather than not updated at all. Because the update is forced the new EULA is forced as well.
Furthermore OP clearly states he intends to use Marketplace to update his phone, which he now cannot do anymore.
You might as well say "never, never trust a criminal" after the hundredth item of news about a criminal committing a violent crime, conveniently ignoring the other x million non-violent criminals.
There FTFY.
You see, lawyers are lawyers by choice. Black men aren't black by choice, so that would be racism.
In case of an obviously meaningless response, or no response at all: petition for a meaningful response. And again. AND AGAIN! Either we care and *demand* justice, or we don't and this deserves to blow over (like it probably will).
Disclaimer: I'm not even a U.S. citizen, so when I say "we" I actually mean "you":)
Yes, yes, I don't disagree with that. But since GGGGGP's option A was to do with religion I thought I'd quip about that. Not a very good joke, I know... No harm intended anyway.

This. Please mod AC up.
"between the body and moral decision-making processes"? Where exactly do they think the moral decision-making processes are located?
I usually deal with this kind of problem by switching to IP over Avian Carriers and pinging their headquarters to death!
The dev console. Pretty common in FPS games (in my day at least). Usually accessed by pressing tilde (~).
Oh no! The robot cheetahs are attacking! Weapons ready... wait for it... waaaait for it... wha ate for grzzzz...

The entire country is less than 1 cm2 on my globe! A phone book is usually printed on A4 paper or some such, so that would fit EASILY.
No no no, they're "accustomed" to steal their parents data. A habit hard to break...
If this would have gone to court and Astrolabe had lost (which they surely would have), wouldn't they have to pay for the legals costs anyhow?
Chinese components like the plague
Wait... the plague is a Chinese component nowadays??? WTF!?
You forgot "you insensitive clod!" (you insensitive clod!)
I'm a big fan of anti-hunting too, but I've run out of rabbits to throw at the gunslingers in the woods...
Looks fine to me, and I'm not even a JavaScript guy. What would you let your engineers check in? (i.e. put your money where your mouth is)
Current sanity does not guarantee future sanity, though. But it's probably probable.
I cannot wait to get divorced and get my collection of rainbowy semicircles!
^ Modded funny. Almost as funny as when they sued the government of Ireland...

Or to anything else, for that matter.
The people with below-average driving skills are few, but really extremely bad at driving. This makes it quite easy to be above-average :D

Yes, well, I did understand that, but my comment was about anthropomorphizing the skies. Or theomorphizing. Whatever.
