You do have a good point about learning new languages when you're young. I'm not sure she's ready for the 2nd language in 2 years (Danish being the 1st). When she's having fun learning to program, I can always try switching the locale to english (to up the ante, so to speak:) ).
Having just learned Danish myself, when I suddenly need to switch to English, a sort of Dutch-Danish version of English comes out of my mouth. And you can just see people thinking "what century did he just arrive from (riding his magic time-dragon)".
Why don't we use the generated heat for warming up water to be used in homes, for example?
I've always wondered why we don't have huge power-consuming computers in our homes to generate heat AND do something useful while generating heat. Of course, this means less bitcoins or SETI or whatever in the summer, but I have better things to do in the summer anyway.
"I'm cold, honey. Could you turn up the bitcoin miner?"
The solution is to file a complaint about each and every app containing even the slightest hint of sexuality. Or something other that's on the censorship list. That way only the most dull apps make it to the consumer. Let's see how well that goes for Apple.
Except that it wont. If the business app was tied to a specific version of IE, then it still is tied to that specific version of IE. IE6 still sends out MSIE, regardless of the existence of IE11, IE12, or IEFoxHunt.
So, please explain to me why calling a misbehaving female person a bitch is sexism. Is it sexist to call a female person a woman? Because that's just it, bitch = misbehaving woman. Just like dickhead = misbehaving man. Or was it not allowed to say she was female at all?
But, then, how is anyone else to know about the dwarf. From the viewer's perspective the dwarf doesn't exist. For that matter, dwarfs might not even exist at all!
If you look at the video, though, the background doesn't have to be static. Objects moving over other moving objects can be removed as well. But, yeah, they have to be visible at some point.
I feel the same. I do find the games a little pricey, as compared to (mostly indie) titles I pick up for the PC (Linux + Steam FTW). But I'll never get my wife to play a game on the PC, and my kids like the Wii U too.
As for stereotypes, I'd rather call it a demographic. And it's a huge, huge market (and kids can be very persuasive).
You guys and you're "freedom". It does not mean what you think it does.
I don't think that sentence means anything at all... unless you meant "your freedom";-). But anyway, the 3 licenses (in Font Awesome anyway) are for 3 different parts of the project and kinda make sense (being licenses specifically designed for these types of works).
Because ignoring such a request, instead of just declining, doesn't look well in the eyes of a judge, should it come to that. IANAL, but I strongly feel that politely declining this request is a better resort than ignoring it.
Because you'd not be switching away from Debian at all...
I tried LMDE for a while, and I didn't dislike it. I just couldn't stand the feeling that I might as well be running Debian proper, which I do now. Very happy with it (unstable, Gnome-shell (*ducks*)).
But there are also users that don't want to learn, but just want to use. On the other hand, there is some knowledge involved in installing a linux system, or windows, for that matter. User tests should be targeted as such, so "the installer is too complex for my granny" isn't valid.

OP here. I'm sorry, I didn't know that. Just me being shortsighted, I guess. Thanks.

Thanks for saying what I've been thinking for years! Thanks.

And why is it Microsofts job to do this? No-one is stopping those organizations to do this themselves.

Read the transcript :)

You said "ass", "clowns" (which is also VERY bad, trigger-wise :) ), "fucking" "fuck them".
Just sayin'
Who? ME? That is so unfair!!! Just because I read your comment... Third time this week, too, you know.

What are R64s?
Ah, sorry, google tells me it's something about the rarity of the material, with R64 being the rarest. Thanks google!
Yes
I am so going to write an app for this. Overlaying naked bodies on top of the people you're actually talking to. Great!
I eat Apples for breakfast! Muhahaha.

I don't think that sentence means anything at all... unless you meant "your freedom" ;-). But anyway, the 3 licenses (in Font Awesome anyway) are for 3 different parts of the project and kinda make sense (being licenses specifically designed for these types of works).

The word is 'pedant' ;-)
China built a wall to keep them mongols out. You better watch out!

A non-techical person shouldn't be installing a linux system in the first place. My granny just has to be able to use the system, not install it.
