You're blind. It's been covered on BBC News and Radio 1 more than once and a simple search on the BBC News site will prove it. In addition didn't you wonder why you couldn't buy them here?
Although in this case they're right. Even 2 years ago VHS was 1% of sales and 2.5% of rents in the UK. The major chains started dropped VHS players that long ago too.
Gaining slowly against a static competitor is good news but it's not great news.
The critical way to read it is that a browser that hasn't been touched in 2 years still has an 80-odd% share. And that browser has a big, BIG update coming which includes the one feature in FF that most people consider the "killer app".
Won't work for everyone, doesn't for me.
Plus it would invalidate my usual use of my mp3 player as something to switch to when something I REALLY detest makes a radio appearence.
As you'd have seen if you read TFA. It's only been legal to sell them very recently, when they started CEing them ready for this change in the law.
Until well into this year, you could only get them from foreign ebay sellers.

Or to put it another bay, it's american in the same way that camp x-ray is.
Does the US really not have a sale of goods act? Regardless of warrenty you could return that for free repair in the UK.
Because MS doesn't want to pay another company licencing fees so you can watch probably illegal video.

It worked with CDs.
I never mentioned TVs and neither did you. I also never said difference, I said TOTAL.

Um. It's not like it's a stranger. "They found blood" is not in itself that great.

That was a very reasonable proportion of the reason I used to rip and play my backups until I discovered AnyDVD.
Or they'll start putting a small sticker on it that says "Not PC Compatible"
