I'm guessing you're the typical bleeding heart who doesn't think people should be punished for their crimes.

i actually believe the only rational response to a crime(including one that has not yet been committed) are to deter people from committing said crime (and thus prevent it happening).
    this can take two forms:
    1) punishment of individuals who commit said crime - for the sole purpose of preventing others from committing the crime or the criminal from re-offending/committing other crimes.
    2) education(for people that have not yet committed crimes)/rehabilitation(for those that have) - so that all people can learn to function in society without committing crimes.
in the case of rehabilitation - the person should either be removed from active society(i.e. jail/psych ward e.t.c.) or monitored until it is no longer deemed necessary (i.e. large threat no longer exists)

so no, i do not believe in punishment for the sake of "you are evil therefore you will suffer"/Revenge. This quite obviously serves no purpose and anyone that does believe this to be appropriate is a complete idiot in my opinion.

it's not because i upgrade my hardware all the time - i have purchased two PCs since then - 1 because my old one wouldn't run any new games. and then another one because i was moving out so figured i'd leave the other one behind for my family.
it's not because i format/re install windows all the time - i haven't done so once since i installed 7 not long after it came out.
the last time any 'serious' maintenance was required was for my old pc i left behind. the 'serious' maintainence was due to the hard drive being old and starting to fail (stopped windows from booting) all i needed to do was run whatever recovery tools were on the windows install disk.

So your argument against the belief that he is only being extradited to Sweeden so that he can then be sent to the U.S. is to present evidence of how difficult is is to get someone extradited directly from the U.K to the U.S.?

you're sourcing a news article that's nearly 2 years old. Try looking at what's being going on more recently. like Within the last week we have news that "THE US military has designated Julian Assange and WikiLeaks as enemies of the United States - the same legal category as the al-Qaeda terrorist network and the Taliban insurgency."

"Declassified US Air Force counter-intelligence documents, released under US freedom-of-information laws, reveal that military personnel who contact WikiLeaks or WikiLeaks supporters may be at risk of being charged with "communicating with the enemy", a military crime that carries a maximum sentence of death."

and an universal id instead of a Google one.

if you mean universal as in - also across non-android devices, that would require owners of other OS's to agree and also some way to work out what happens when someone buys a product from one app store and wants to use those apps on another device e.g. i buy a game on google play but then switch to an iPhone, as i have already purchased the game with my universal id i should then be able to get it for free on the apple app store (otherwise what would be the point of it being universal) however how does apple get their cut from the app?
