    He has a point. Some of those broadband studies compare apples to oranges. Yea, Korean networks may be faster, but then US is not Korea. Different scale, different usage patterns etc. It's like comparing Ethernet wired building to satellite linked regional office network.

    You, people like you make me sick! Posting anonymously is his right. In current political climate it is dangerous to speak your mind about some things. Such as race. It is obvious that AC has a point since the common denominator in both Katrina and Haiti tragedies is the race of victims. What CNN and other news outlets show is utter inability of those people to face the problem. They simply sit there and wait for the help to come from somewhere. And when help arrives they attack!

    200 nuclear warheads(approx. British capability) is not enough to destroy a large and powerful opponent such as the US, Russia or China. It's enough to make it too costly to attack the UK. But in case of total war it's simply not enough, considering inevitable losses due to countermeasures and malfunctions.

    Whatever happened to the good old 'destroy the competition'? Developed world has the means to suppress the emerging economies, why not do it? Stop knowledge transfer to India and China. Do not accept any immigrants. Institute trade embargoes. If this is not done soon, the military option may be the last resort. When the whole world is in competition for limited natural resources, it is very dangerous to let your enemies(yes, they are enemies) capabilities to develop unhindered.
