For a start, Adobe could at least try and do YUV to RGB using OpenGL, that would help, but they wont do it. Little things like this Adobe refuse to do, it will only take someone a day to write the code, this will make your computer go from a leaf blower to a vacuum cleaner. *sigh*
If you have the rights to both, or you have an agreement with the other copyright holder, you can do whatever you want with it -give it away for free, put under a creative commons so it is easy for people to understand, or keep it all rights reserved.
For the UK, the recording copyright is 50 years from the date of the release. Publishing is longer, 70 years from the end of the calendar year from the date of when the writer died.
This is a costly process as the standards are high (as is the mains voltage!)
They use switched mode power supplies, most people do these days. The same supply will work on 110V or 240V (Apple's USB charger is rated at 100-240V when you read the spec on the supply).
But not an eSATA external hard drive.
Apologies, UK is 17% more expensive than in sale in the USA.
Look at the UK prices. Once you take off VAT at 17.5%, and then convert to US$, it is 17% more expensive.
Also, the Mac Mini first started at £399 when it was introduced, and affordable computer, it now starts at £649, with mediocre hardware.
It's a rip off, for sure!
Front facing cameras and video conferencing have been on almost every 3G capable phone since circa 2003.
It has never really taken off in the UK, it is cool to show someone something, but it costs 50p per minute, so people have never bothered.

English? You’re stating US volumes, not Imperial which the English used to use.
We (English) have never used 128 fl oz in a gallon, which both are US fl oz and gallon.
We (English) have 160 fl oz in a gallon, both in Imperial.
I also hear the new iPhone is powered almost entirely by the user's sense of self-importance, hence the extra few hours of call time.
Unsure if that is a new feature, though.
Marketing - the screen is higher than 300ppi, which is a resolution greater than the human eye can resolve.
4. You can force SSL for all communication with their site.
I'd also use the Force-TLS add-on for Firefox too.
This has nothing to do with Apple, AT&T are doing this. I doubt Apple knew anything about this.
So does Facebok, Twitter, Apple.com and Microsoft.com. Just the firsth four I thought I'd try.
Come one /., please support SSL!
For me, the URL when searching goes to https://www.google.com/ after that edit, however google then redirect me to http://www.google.co.uk./ :(
It's in the manuals for £120,000 cameras as well. Sony F35 being one of them.
Yes, it is all copyrighted. The copyright is in two parts; the original recording © and the publishing (lyrics and composition) circle P symbol.

I salute you, Robot!
Yeah, he says "it is a great enhancement to safety", as you don't have to text while driving on your iPhone.
My sarcasm radar is all over the place on this one. Is he joking or or real?
Nobody should be texting while driving. He's an idiot.
MSFT must have recently gotten their hands on salesforce.com's source code
Yeah, in their web browser they just went to the toolbar and 'View -> Page Source'. They can then see the code in all its raw formatted glory.
O'rly?

No duty on the iPad, it has no calculator.
No import duty for the UK, as it has no calculator function.
My 6 year old Sony Ericsson phone had flash. So did my 7 year old Dell Axim PDA.
Flash is pretty much 'open', that's if you define 'open' like Adobe does.
Adobe's definition: Cross platform = open
Ugh.
Floating point calculations could be wildly inaccurate on CPUs, Intel CPUs as a prime example. *tongue in cheek*
Hitachi/Fujitsu sued LG back in 2007. LG have always been ruthless in not caring about patents.
