Actually Microsoft's attitude towards IE has been rather commendable lately, what with the improved standards-compliance of IE8 and the fact that it can be easily uninstalled from a Windows 7 installation, leaving no trace of it behind. Not to mention the number of browsers has improved over the past couple of years on the Windows platform, and how Microsoft is opening up to ODF support in Office and the like.
It's getting to a point where the legitimacy of senseless Microsoft-bashing is at an all-time low.
Funny you mention Duke Nukem 3D, because I remember playing it about 7 years ago with Red-Blue glasses. There was this huge modding community for DN3D that, among other things, designed this custom display mode which allowed you to play DN3D at 320x200 using these glasses.
I didn't have a pair at the time so it seemed rather odd playing in this mode, but I'm sure it was really awesome at the time, despite the piss-poor resolution.
I'm pretty sure the DMCA doesn't allow me having downloaded goatse's work so many times when all I wanted to do was follow a perfectly legitimate link on a forum. I sure wouldn't want THAT guy chasing me around asking for money!
Well, this SOPA Release Candidate seems pretty polished...I guess I'll downlo- oh wait.
Actually, the issue will probably be mute.

France's position regarding Iraq was more motivated by their oil deals with, *gasp*, the Iraqi government; deals they would rather not lose.
