    Well, [ & ] can be hit with a single key, whereas < & > require the shit key to be hit as well.

    The one thing I hate about typing (especially when programming), is how many times I have to hit that god damn shit key. My left little finger starts to hurt a lot when I've been programming for a while.

    Ok, all you guys out there bitching about iTunes not working in linux, consider yourselves lucky. Not only is iTunes a piece of shit, but linux has some of the best music applications ever made. The following are IMHO way better than iTunes, and handles iPods just fine.
    • Amarok (1.x and 2.0)
    • Rhythmbox
    • SongBird
    • many more

    Come one guys, if you can get online without having to insert you telus installation disk, I'm sure you can get songs on and off of an iPod...

    Note: Yes, I know the iPod touch and iPhone are currently unsupported, but believe me, they are working on it!

    A torrent file contains nothing but a title and a list of trackers, along with some other technical data.

    The only thing even remotely copyrightable about them is the title. The format is standard (LOTS of prior art) and you can not copyright facts (list of servers/trackers).

    Actually, you would be surprised at how many people have heard of linux. 90% of them have no idea what in the hell it is, but they have heard a mention of it from "somewhere".

    The more people hear linux, even if they don't fully understand it, it still removes a lot of the fear induced when someone tries to get them to drop windows.

    I can't believe that to this day, Windows STILL doesn't have a progress bar for boot-up or shut-down. Linux (almost every distro) has had this for at least 3 or 4 YEARS!

    But hey, they barely have the progress bar working for copying files, so what-ever...

    By the time the stuff is upgraded it should run on 64bit MS Windows 7 and the whole 32 bit Vista debacle will be behind us.

    Wan't XP pro supposed to be the big jump to 64 bit? Then when that failed I heard that 32 bit vista wouldn't even be available. Now, 2 versions later, you are saying that W7 will end this 32 bit crap? Sure....

    I hate it when people say "web designer". A person who does photoshop mock-ups and GUI ideas is a "web designer". The sucker that has to take these intriquitly imagined nightmares and make them happen are "web developers. Some people do both (good for them), but if you've ever had to build a website under the guise of a graphics artist, you will know exactly what I mean.
