Oooh, so close! the parent said "domain.com" not "https://domain.com. Thus you would be entering an http site (by default). Your.htaccess would then redirect to "https://www.domain.com".
If he typed in "http://domain.com", then yes, you would be correct.
I like your mention of security. I installed my grandmother's telus modem (she has had telus for a long time and can't change due to her email being used for a business). The modem is actually a 2-wire wireless modem, with a DEFAULT wireless password (password=telus)... Compare this to shaw, who actually stopped by one day (they had had problems in the area and were personally asking people if they had had problems). I talked for a minute with him and happened to mention that I had a network, he promptly asked me if I had secured the connection properly.
Haha. I am holding in my hands the box for my Panasonic RP-HJE240 headphones ~$40.
Frequency Response: 6Hz - 23Hz
I have a friend with some nice BOSE headphones (don't know the model), but they stack up pretty nice against them. The BOSE are nicer, but not by nearly as much as you would think.
I plug these into my Create Zen Vision:W and the sound is VERY nice.
Sidenote: Anyone know where to get a replacement screen for a Create Zen Vision:W?:(
My uncle has seen this once (ubuntu) and my mother once (eeebuntu), but other than that, I've never seen aisleriot crash. Granted they've only been on linux for a few months, but they use it quite a bit and I've never seen it on either of my laptops (using ubuntu since 7.10).
How is this any harder than googling for a program, downloading it, scanning it (viruses), trying to install it, find out it needs.net, find that, run WGA to download it, install that, install the original program, then search the start menu for the obscure name of the company that made it so you can run it?!? Oh, yeah, don't forget trying to update all of them and kill all their "taskbar" widgets (I've seen these cover half a screen, I'm not kidding).
Yes, I am aware of store-bough software, but if such a thing existed for Linux, it would be just as easy to install as in Windows.
First of all, ANY console in a closed cupboard will overheat, but leave a PS3 and XBOX360 in the middle of the floor, and there will be a CONSIDERABLE heat difference. You would think that moving the power adapter inside would make it warmer, which it probably does, but considering it's still cool to the touch after 4 straight days of gaming+folding@home is pretty remarkable.
As for failures, it's true, I was mainly comparing it to the 360, but every person I know (save 1) who ever bought a wii played with it for a week (or maybe 2), then put it in the closet till they had a party. Wii fail less partly because the hardware is not as powerful (less heat), but mostly because you don't get as many hours worth of use out of them.
Any idea if you can use a bluetooth keyboard for installing? I don't have a usb keyboard (unbelievable, I know), but I do have a bluetooth on. Well, actually, it's an N810 with blue-maemo, but it does the same thing;)
Ah, thanks, I was assuming amount was simply an "estimate", not a "ratio", thanks.
Wow, 240 comments about the possible non-existence of human choice, and nobody has yet found an xkcd comic to explain it?!?
Disclaimer: If you do not agree with my statement, please take it up with to original state of the universe, I had not say in it!
If there is no free will, then you are not at liberty to decide not to follow the path.
It can also be argued that the "decided" path requires us to simulate the conclusion of these "decisions," even if there is only one possible outcome.
But by a factor of 2???
I'm naive by choice, you insensitive clod!

We made thermite in physics class and blew up a microwave. Also, we're building a sustainable heating economy for the entire state...
Just how much thermite did you PUT in that microwave?!?
I know the photos are generic, but I've still always been afraid of recognizing somebody in one of those things...
Unless you want to use headphones that actually have a sound quality better than your little sister screaming into one of those spring microphones.
Not that the audio hardware in the iPhone is worth connecting good headphones to anyways...
I hate doing this, but that 23Hz should be 23KHz, noticed AS I hit the submit button.

Actually, for once I kind of wish I HAD been in windows. NTFS file recovery is SO much easier than ext3...
Pfft, weak!
Now THIS is a MAN's display!!!
Any idiot can hook a signal generator up to a pair of headphones, but how do you accurately measure the sound coming out of them?
Microsoft has never met a standard
There, fixed that for you.

Ok, time to open the poles!
What that
- A pre-pubescent boy with a bad hairdo?
- The worlds ugliest flat-chested chick with a worse hairdo?

Harder because any mistakes are punished by instant injuries or death, there is no 'undo' button !!
And where was the undo button when I tried to delete all the compiled python files in a folder and forgot the c?!?
rm *.pyc (good)
rm *.py (BAD, VERY BAD)
...causing them to be responsible for the burning of more coal and oil which raise cancer rates on their own...
Ah, how I love Canada and it's ability to sustain itself mainly on Hydro and Nuclear power (Hydro here on the west coast).

It isn't necessary to get task A to work on product B just because we can.
You see that, that little statement right there, THAT is why you need to hand in your geek card. And I mean NOW!
Does that 28.9M include replacements for the dead ones? ;)
