    Because it's relative in scale to us, the star is half the size of our sun. The large gas giants are about half as far away from the star, as ours are to our star, etc., etc..

    FTA:

    Georgia Tech's near-future strategy involves capturing carbon emissions from conventional (fossil) liquid hydrocarbon-fueled vehicles with an on board fuel processor designed to separate the hydrogen in the fuel from the carbon. Hydrogen is then used to power the vehicle, while the carbon is stored on board the vehicle in a liquid form until it is disposed at a refueling station.

    At least till they get better coffee... I like Starbucks coffee personally, I just don't like having to explain myself for ordering a regular cup of joe.

    What was the jihadist material? The Koran? I know your being an ass, and this article is talking about the Brits. But we ain't that far from them, or vice versa. And for the record the copy of the Qur'an I read was from the Boise State School library (that'd be Idaho). Good read, not much different from any other mainstream religious text I've read. I recommend it to any other agnostic that seeks to have a broad and well informed discussion with there peers.

    Actually hydrocarbons are more than just oil, methane for one. Which is believed to be located in several locations in our solar system.

    Whooooaaaa slow down little Johnny, IP by it's very nature can't be taken from you, or stolen, at least not in the sense we're talking about here, downloading and making copies. The problem is we have to many people like you see on Leno's Jaywalking. If they can't remember who the last vice president was, how can you expect them to even begin to grasp the concept of intellectual property and make an informed opinion on the matter. The general populace seems to be less able to sort out 'marketing speak' and loaded questions then ever before.

    I have no problems at all with educating kids on copyright law Totally, keyword being educate, I mean I'm only 24 but daaaaaaamn I swear kids are much more blatantly ignorant or downright idiotic then I can recall >10 years ago.

    Actually, being in the military makes you acutely aware of the negative impact drug use can have on performance in a critical situation. But considering the fact urinalysis has been mentioned, which detects THC metabolites far longer than any other more modern drug test, i.e. saliva or blood. You could get high on your vacation, come back and get canned? Or whatever they do in the service... So yeah you are an asshole, and so is anyone that judges people based on what they choose to consume on their own time rather then judging people on their quality of work.

    I can only guess that the problem is worse now with the Xbox and PS3. I can agree the Dreamcast was indeed easy to use with pirated games. However due to the nature of the Dreamcast game media, which offered somewhat superior storage (1.2gb?) vs. a CD-R (700mb +/-), you always stood a chance to lose quality with pirated games. Usually a reduction of texture quality or complete omission of certain game data. I always always amazed the Dreamcast could still play games after such butchering.

    However it should be noted there are no effective means to pirate games on the current gen systems, sure people have done it. But it is by no means easy or guaranteed as various system updates or new hardware revisions tend to nullify any developments in that area.
