Of the half-dozen or so people I know who run Opera, exactly ONE HUNDRED PERCENT have their browser identifying itself to web sites as IE7.
Really? Opera is my main browser and I've only set it to identify as IE once, ever, and that was when I purposefully went to a site that I was told checked for IE, to see if anyone actually still did that. Maybe I'm just not browsing the right (wrong?) kind of site.
I got all the way through it, I just didn't understand half the stuff that was in it. If I had taken the time to come to terms with each idea as it was presented, I would certainly still be working on it. It's been a couple years, but IIRC, I got about halfway through before everything started going completely over my head.
The Dynamics of Networks: Develop the high-dimensional mathematics needed to accurately model and predict behavior in large-scale distributed networks that evolve over time occurring in communication, biology and the social sciences.
Am I reading this wrong, or do they actually want mathematicians to invent Asimov's Psychohistory?

Here in Wisconsin, at least, the mosquitoes are bigger than most freight trains.
Actually, the length in digits does indeed rely on the base of the system used to represent the number. For example, the number 157, a prime, has a number of digits (3) which is also prime, so it would be on the list. However, if we represent it in binary (10011101) it is now 8 digits long, which is clearly not a prime.
No more annoying than, say, a TV, or a 'dimmed' LED. All three work on the principle that the human eye can't see very fast.
Well, if you want the long options, you can use :set autoindent smartindent
What's misleading? After all, it's not an emulator. It just intercepts system and library calls (see the above discussion on PPC).
You mean like Opera already does?
Then step two must be "Call insurance agency"?
More to the point, where's the 64-bit love for linux?

You know, this is Wikipedia we're talking about, which means you don't have to just bitch about it, you can actually go out and fix it! Imagine that!
Oh yeah, wikipedia, what a reputable source. I'm not giving up on my Perpetual Motion Machine until there's proof!
What was that about a zero point drive though? It sounds intriguing... Perhaps it may have application in my own design...

Tesla fanatic, you say?
Check out Tesla from Kate Beaton's amazing History Comics even if you're not a fanatic!
$84? It's $100 for those of us whose schools don't cover part of the fee.
One of the most brilliant ideas I've ever seen on /. This would be amazing.
That would be amazingly cool.
I'll settle this! Or, rather, Ryan North/T-Rex will settle this!
