But there isn't any money going to worthwile causes. How much do you think it costs microsoft to ship a few CD's and set up a site license or something?
actualy Timex has had a USB watch for a while. Since Win2k / XP won't let them talk directly to the video card any more, they had to come up with some other way to get the data to the watch.
Anime, as you suggest, is the only thing that comes close because it doesn't pretend to be a product for kids
Um... have you seen the anime (style) Transformers? I can't imagine any one other than kids being interested in that. In fact, I have a herd time believing that kids enjoy it...
I love that feature, but I have one prolbem with it. I haven't RTFMed, but is there a simple way to get it to jump to the next instance of matching text? I usualy just highlight something after the current match and start typing again, but that means I have to take my hand off the keyboard...

I read that as two thirds bulb (without an 's') a year. If they run it 14.5 hours a day that comes out to 5292 houts. Divided by 8000 is.6615. Cource I don't know the first thing about the movie industry, so I could be wrong.
oh no! not 140 FPS! I'm all for higher frame rates, but once it gets higher than your monitor's refresh, you can't tell the difference. So, unless your monitor is running at greater than 140, quit your whining.
On a more constructive note, I have a GeForce 2 GTS and had my brother's AIW 7500 for a couple weeks. While the ATI did look better most of the time, it sucked for trancparicy. Namely fog, bet also the blood splaters in Quake 3. The frame rate would drop like a rock. BTW, this was in windows w/ the latest drivers for both. So, maybe your problem isn't so much with the drivers as it is with the card itself.
Yes cable is faster, and sometimes a littel cheaper, but there is one little problem. If you want a dedicated IP address with most cable companies, you have to get their "business" connection. A dedicated IP is standard with my DSL provider.
And what kind of video are you planning on playing on that tiny little screen? I admint it would be kind of a novalyt, and maybe neat for a little while, but that would eventualy wear off. Then you are left with something totaly useless that you paid an extra hundred dollars for.
I use gaim now, but before I made the switch, I used Trillian. It has had encription for AIM and ICQ for quite some time now.
What's really funny is when they say this and display your supposed IP address. Except it isn't yours, it is the Address of your ISP's caching server.
ummm... don't get popcorn or drinks? They are over priced and not all that good.

What the heck is a troll doing with the highest score on the article.

For now, it seems it is just a mailing address...

I don'w know what will happen once it gets there, but at least they seem to support it.
Actually, they seem to support recycling: http://www.flexplay.com/recycle.html
also in their FAQ: http://www.flexplay.com/faq.html#recycle
But first she has to be petrified!
You mean like this.

I'll start...

not sure if I would call it a buffer overflow, but yeah. If the counter is a singned int, once he gets over 32767 files, the next will be -32768.
you could just set up an endless bot match in quake...

But if the RIAA own the copywrite or have permision form the owner, then they can make or get as many copies they want.

How about this for boasting. My ISP is called My Linux ISP. They support all OS's and the DSL box we got when we signed up is a NAT router.

It is a bug in slashdot. I just looked at it in Mozilla and IE on WinXP and "submit story" was right up against the storeis on both of them.
What's wrong with them? Their quality is lower, but that doesn't matter when you are just passing files to freinds and throwing them away.
Actualy, in a recent journal CmdrTaco mentioned https for sucribers. In fact, I'm using it now
hmmm... if the two fans spun at the same speed in the oposite direction, whould they cancel each other out and run almost silent?
