Only if Amazon also feels like buying a fleet of trucks and being responsible for delivering these packages to the B&M locations. Walmart already has a fleet of vehicles, but I would guess that they have a small percentage of the online store sales.
I'm also interested to see how they market this to customers. Why would I want to pick-up in store vs having it shipped to my house. Are they going to start charging to have it shipped to a residential address? That could quickly become a differentiator between online stores, as most people that I know only care about the total price of their purchase.
But worst of all, even under good direction, I think the prequels would have been lame. We already knew the outline of what had happened; that the Old Republic fell, that the Emperor perverted Anakin Skywalker into Darth Vader, that Skywalker's children had been separated so that the Emperor could not gain both of them. The prequels were inevitably going to be little more than a "fill in the blanks" exercise, and would be necessarily anticlimactic
Based upon watching The Clone Wars TV series, I have to disagree. You walk into the series knowing all of the key points about main characters and the war as a whole, republic wins, Palpatine is secretly a sith, etc. Almost every episode is better than any prequel movie when it comes to plot, dialogue and characters. If this team would have been given the reigns to develop the prequel movies and Lucas only played a consulting role... I think the galaxy far far away would have been much better.
Not sure how opening a Warehouse is going to stop sales to local businesses. If people didn't want to buy from said local businesses, it would happen regardless of where the warehouse was located.
Thinking too small. My body generates heat, the watch is attached to my body. Heat can be turned into energy. I want this to suck the heat from my body (much like my soul) and charge itself.
I believe that Congress has a hand in determining how much the USPS can raise their postal rates. So even though First Class Mail fell by 15% between 2008 and 2010, the USPS was only allowed to raise postage from 42 to 44 cents (5%). I know for a while that the USPS was making money or staying afloat and am unsure at what point it started to lose money.
If the USPS could close what offices it wanted to and change its rate appropriately, it likely would not have an issue staying afloat at all.
Is it any surprise that the Federal govt. has knee-jerked and not thought through the repercussions, or the real-world applicability of their solutions?
Maybe the Federal Gov is sick of their IT departments sitting on their arses and keeping such outdated tech around. This is now a mandate to fix and upgrade things, and to do it now.
So the developers of MariaDB took all their experience and knowledge that they obtained at Oracle while working on MySQL and created a direct competitor product to their prior company's product? I don't care why they did it, it's underhanded and doesn't speak well to the character of those people.
Yes they did. Just like game developers who go to a different studio and create competing games, a doctor who goes to a different hospital to treat patients, or a truck driver who goes to a different trucking company. All of these people changed jobs and are in direct competition with their previous employers.
I find their character to be of a much better quality than yours.
Maybe because I would like my work life to stay at work and my home life to stay at home. It makes people more focused on what they are doing in both areas and makes it so that one doesn't intrude on the other.
I have horror stores in both directions from people overlapping the two.
Maybe when you know that everyone has a submachine gun in their closet at home, people are less likely to use guns as threats. Of course they likely don't have a huge culture that revolves around guns without necessarily the responsibility that comes with it.

Man who is lazy to wife in life, has wife who is lazy to husband in bed.
The tree of Innovation must be refreshed at times with the blood Developers and Publishers.
My kingdom for a mod point

So at the end of the year you don't pay a use tax? Hopefully your state doesn't have one. Otherwise congratulations, You've just become a tax evader!
How does using tariffs help STATES? Unless you want your products imported from California to have tariffs on them.

By web development are we talking about drag and drop building of web pages or writing the code?

I agree. We need to license who can have kids and who can't. Letting anyone print their own future murderer is a shame and should be a crime.
... just ask Julian Assange about international treaty law. Or did you forget about him already? :/
Yes, I did already forget about him. I deemed it not worthy of my attention a long time ago.

Except that Guild Wars is still running even after Guild Wars 2 has been released.
Exactly what do you call the past decade then?
Partial truths are usually far more exciting than the truth itself.
You do not need to have your shirt moved by the sound of explosions in an action movie.
I don't think Geeks build sound systems to move their own shirts. Other people's shirts perhaps.
That was my first thought as well.

Most days, I think that when we have a post about politics on this site, that the hordes from cnn.com and Fox News come here to troll.
Hey, hey, less logic. This is a apple hater vs mac fanboi discussion.
