Actually, overstock.com does have legal grounds to sue. Here's the prohibited conduct part of the law:
13-39-201. Prohibited conduct. (1) A person may not:
(a) install spyware on another person's computer;
(b) cause spyware to be installed on another person's computer; or
(c) use a context based triggering mechanism to display an advertisement that partially or wholly covers or obscures paid advertising or other content on an Internet website in a way that interferes with a user's ability to view the Internet website. (2) It is not a defense to a violation of this section that a user may remove or hide an advertisement.
What overstock.com is sueing over is section 1.C & 2. We're talking about adds that goto a compeditor from their site. The thing with these pop-ups, is that they present a deal that looks like it could be from overstock.com and when the user click on it, they goto SmartBargains instead.
Think of this along the lines of Wal*Mart paying someone to put a posterboard with Wal*Mart advertisements on it, and go into near by Target stores and tell Target's customers to goto Wal*Mart instead. Who's the one doing the unethical advertisement?
If this is true, then it makes the existence of an onmipotent being that only exists in our universe impossible. But, it doesn't eliminate the possibility of an omnipotent being that exists outside of our universe (either fully or partly).

Do a search for nsapi and perl. I haven't used netscape/iPlanet for a while, but it worked then and should work now.
You may also want to look at fast-cgi, it isn't free, but it does work.
The 500, 550, and 600 are all the same chip. Athlons are also very overclockable, and AMD will let you overclock them. I just made an overclocking card for my Athlon and my 500 is running at 700 (stable) with just a heat sink. You can get the instructions from www.tomshardware.com.
Just because a IBM or Sparc runs at 400 - 600 Mhz doesn't mean that they are slower. I found that a Sparc 333 runs about the same as a Pentium 600. These chips have a better design that allows them to get more done then x86s. The chips are also 64bit which gives them better through rate then 32bit chips.
If you "clean lab it" it is perfectly legal to use the code. But a BIG part of multiprocessors is the hardware its self. How many processors you can have is more dependent on the bandwith between the processors than how the software is written. If you have too many processors for your bandwith you will start to think that windows is stable!
1) go to their home page and click on the button that says, "free internet service". 2) I've never used worldspy, the reason I mentioned it was because they offer a free dsl connection (and isdn).
They also offer free dsl and dial-up service. Currently they only have software for windows, but mac and linux software will be available soon. They also do not have a banner, just software that logs your internet usage.
Think of how many perverts would jump on the chance to see other people naked. Granted many of them would be gay (because men watch men and women watch women), but the airport will take anyone they can get.
I live in Minnesota, US (CST), and when I came into work this morning I was told that some people can't login to the NT workstations. It turns out that last night the server team decided they needed better security (they should of switch to Solaris, we have very few problems with Solaris). Unfortunately they hosed the DNS for the domain controllers and now the part of the NT network is down (but the suns run just fine). Luckily only administrative assistants are on NT, all of our critical systems are on Solaris.
I think the biggest Y2K problem will be quick changes that are not thought through.
I use to work at Allina Health Systems. Some of the surgeons would use wearable computers when performing rare surgeries. They would use it to quickly get information. They used a cord keyboard that works by pressing multiple buttons to get a letter.
If they can make an organizer that can do AV I'm all for it. Think of how cool it will be to carry one device around for music, notes, and scheduling. Now if it would just make coffee for me in the morning.
Maybe there are just 99 regular websites to every porn site out there.
You must be new to this internet thing.

That's why they want every computer to run windows.

err, you forgot the wo in front of the man.
You Fond it now apply for a job!
Take a look at the welsh academy english dictionary 1999 edition:
alot v.t. 1. to ~ sth to (s.o.), in the aloted time. 2. Alternate spelling of allot.
Alot is a word, but it means to give (ie. I alot my computer to my son).

All of the free ISPs that have a banner also log your internet usage. So it's the same, only without the eye candy.
They also offer free dsl and dial-up service. Currently they only have software for windows, but mac and linux software will be available soon. They also do not have a banner, just software that logs your internet usage.
Most free ISPs have a statment like that. Only it $50 - $100 instead of $1000.

Or are they dry clean only?
This is the first first post that isn't lame!

Didn't he mean lack of other things?
