    Yes, a quad core laptop with a passmark of >10000 and tdp of 1 watt or so would be a great thing. Imagine if we can go without fans and charge once a week.

    I vote for legalizing all victimless crimes. If what you do doesn't harm anyone elses rights it should be legal.

    This is not some theory. Come to Amsterdam and experience legal prostitution in action. It works. It doesn't weed out 100% of forced prostitution (as you said there is a market for underage girls etc) but at least 90%.

    I don't mind to wait 30 second for a reboot, (clarkdale i3+ssd) more worried about spoiling the 8 month uptime. :) Totally annoyed last time when I had to reboot into windows to strip drm off an e-book so I can load it in calibre

    I'm on 3.19.0-32 Mint update says it's the recommended kernel. I would upgrade for bragging rights but I don't wanna reboot.

    That, also low level radiation isn't as damaging as often portrayed. Much like you don't get sunburn after a year by walking in the sunshine every day for 1 minute. (But you might if you do it for 6 hours on one day)

    3 : It has to be ready 2 weeks ago so we'll forward that untested alpha version to our high risk clients who will sue the fuck out of us if anything is not right. 4: Oh can you make a feature that does X for client A. I'll be here for another hour. 5: assumes input from external program is correct by glancing over the xml of 1 example record. 6: we will make that split between a development version and a stable version when all the features on the list are done. (read in 4 years) We want the new features out as quickly as possible. etc....
