They would also announce it as a feature on a new model of gadget halfway through the introductory announcement of the 'new' gadget that it replaces. And charge $1000 for it.
Fake identities are only a problem when large and overreaching amounts of power are wielded by entities that control the means to validate identities. Make everything a little more local and democratic and the problem evaporates.
I know... you can't hide in your big fucking cities if your neighborhood becomes a district where everybody knows each other. Fetishes are no fun if we're open about them, etc. and so on...
You are correct. The Internet flattens out the map, and includes everybody on it. In ways no authoritarian could have imagined 50 years ago. The psuedo anonymnity that peole get while 'hiding' behind an ip address that by definition is traceable is a little weird, but people need fantasy in their lives.
Why? Mormons are obsessed about lineage. Lineage is a big deal in their dogma.
But how does that 'corrupt' this technology? People who are automobile enthusiasts often are involved with developing new automotive technology. People who are bicycle enthusiasts often are involved with developing new bike technology. This is nothing different.
Are you trying to stir up anti-Mormon sentiments? Is that the thrust of your comment? Because people do that to be anti-Muslim or anti-semetic, too.
That part of the Constitution was drafted by a dyslexic. It was supposed to read 'The right to arm bears.' The travesty of Yellowstone was never meant to happen. The bears should still be the ones running the show there.
The people in California and Texas should be campaigning to split up their states into smaller blocks so they would fit in with the scale of the rest of the country. I know some forces in California are working on that.
As for individual voters, just get out of those big monolithic block states if you want to be active in politics.
I wouldn't rate it 'troll'. I would rate it pretty fricking weird. If dude went all bold-faced at said 'young woman' she would just shut down and ignore the rant.
Also, how did the boldface get stuck on at the beginning of the rant and never get fixed? Use preview before you hit post.
Was it Trump, or was it the religious for-profits? Lot of propaganda leading up to the election from the right encouraging people to vote for "God's Candidate" Trump.
Are you crazy? The Religious Right held their noses while voting for Trump.
If anything good can be said about Trump's election, it's that he took down both the Clinton and the Bush dynasties. I don't think he represents a trend for the future, i.e. I don't think somebody who he 'anoints' will carry on with his program. So he has provided the political system with a vigorous Drano flush, and perhaps some of the shit will get flushed out of the system as a result.
A lot of 'sensitive information', namely things like SSN, are only sensitive because the credit application process has been so sensitized. Credit extending companies want it to be trivially easy to extend credit. They want the cashier at a clothing store to be able to issue a credit card to customers at the point of sale. So things that used to be ordinary accessable information like SSNs are made into secrets, for the convenience of credit issuing companies.
When I attended college at a small liberal arts school in 1979 they didn't really have a student ID number. They just used students' SSNs as an id. So SSNs were scattered all over campus fairly freely. You used a card with your SSN on it at the library to check out books.
There is really no reason for this not to be okay, except for businesses who want to be able to use your SSN as a sort of 'secret password' to allow youbto go into debt to them.
Bill Gates coded the Word Processor application in the TRS-80 Model 100 in 8085 Assembly Language. It is purportedly his last major coding project at Microsoft. He is on record as liking Visual Basic.
IT is what used to be called 'computer operator.' It is totally different from computer science, which is more of an engineering than an operations discipline. People who do actual design and engineering bristle when some HR drone treats them like they are IT.
I have found that on some sites if you just block javascript entirely, the site displays the text/image content properly, but the annoying junk doesn't happen. An example is The Spectator, which normally lets you view a few articles each month and then blocks unless you are a subscriber. If you use NoScript to not allow any javascript from The Spectator, all the text/image content is usable all the time.
On the serious side, cook yer gadamned food properly and wash your hands after doing shit like taking a crap, or petting pigs, and then all you'll have to worry about is everything else.
Your insistence upon these elitist behaviors is the reason your side lost the 2016 election.
It's just weird, because I would think you would be the first to agree that we all lost in the 2016 election.

That would be 'in Soviet Russia.'
You know.. the place that was VERY LOUDLY anti-fascist for many years.
Which horrible Pixar-country do you live in where that happens?
Do you live in North Korea? Perhaps in a time-warped East Germany?
You seriously live in a place where if you can't post anonymously on blogs they will take away your house?

You're just jealous because you couldn't come up with a O'Reilly book title to use as your account name.

If Hillary had been elected, we'd be in a land war in Syria right now, possibly with proxy forces from Russia on the opposite side.
The Globalists are hellbent on a gas pipeline across Syria to compete with Russian energy interests.

Gold has tremendous utility. If it were more common most of the things that people use that are made out of metal would be made out of gold alloys.
