Yeah - I stumbled on that little nugget one sleepless night - I also thought you could say that all Christians are agnostic - because ( if I understand it rightly ) they accept that you can not prove the existence of God but you must make a leap of faith to believe in God . Therefore at once agnostic and religious.

FWIW The three GPS units I've played with all showed altitude.
Kind of weird watching it change when at home ( up and down about 25 meters on an altitude of about 193 meters) - I assumed it were the earth's wobble or errors in data

I am not sure how hard it would be for a Russian or Chinese citizen to access non-government news sources - I am fairly sure if that they were determined enough it could be done.

Agreed and I think it is worth adding that many of these decision makers are ( AFAIK) legally required to maximise profit and morals are not a factor. IMO this does not excuse the individuals that do it - in my job I sometimes have to support companies whose actions cause me concern - I give them the best help I can - perhaps that makes me a "bad gut " too - ahh its all to hard

Personally I wish people would just shut up on this issue and let the scientists have some room to study it properly and impartially. P'raps but that will only leave us with our new - fricken lasers on their head - overlords welcoming us for one.

Excellent comment. I am more inclined to believe that humans are largely responsible for and most likely to suffer badly from climate change. But nevertheless your comment gave me pause for thought. Mod you up.

Not sure why the funny mod - and if it was, forgive me. I think that you have hit the nail on the head. It does appear that there is a chance that we will see the "dumb terminal" PC at home for the masses ( arguably a good thing ) I would prefer that there was plenty of competition on the way to the eventual ubiquity of this . So lets hope that the challenges that Microsoft face ( its own s/ware etc ) will allow at least a competitor of some size to , shall we say , keep the game honest
