No, shooting up a country we don't belong in puts all of our American soldiers in danger. They wouldn't be in danger if we weren't playing "we have the biggest cock in the world."
I had a huge number of issues with my PS2, but so far my PS3 slim has::knock on wood:: been running with only the occasional lock up. I've had one 360 red ring on me, but it was a launch console...my Jasper 360 is::again, knock on wood:: solid as a rock.
You know what pisses me off about that? I still have a fully functional Atari 2600, SNES, Game Gear, AND Game Boy. They just don't make em like they used to -_-;;
You're talking about a Supreme Court which ruled that Corporations can spend as much as they want on election campaigns. What the hell makes you think they're going to overturn software and business patents?
The fact that everyone on the Supreme Court unanimously agreed that Bilski is full of crap, for starters. It was essentially a public beating of Bilski's claims.
it seems to be the portly version which is having the most problems.
This is yet another update that PS3 fat owners are reporting widespread problems, with nary a hiccup for PS3 slim owners. Tin foil or no, that's just a fact.
It's because many of the pictures are cached on Gawker's central servers. For a VERY long time, it was blocked here at my office as well. I repeatedly submitted requests to have it unblocked, but to no avail. We finally got a new (much friendlier) head of IT about three months ago, and based on what he told me, it wasn't Gizmodo that was blocked but Gawker's main servers (likely because of Fleshbot utilizing the same server to host its images). He blocked the Fleshbot domain, but opened up the rest of Gawker's offerings.
Our 250GB PS3 Slim has been fine after the latest update...no freezing or game launching problems. I can't RTFA due to work filters, but I would imagine that this update wouldn't cause problems with Slim PS3s anyway, since out of the box you already can't install Linux on there.
Can anyone tell me if TFA says anything about Slim PS3s?
There is still a rather active market for CB radios as well. I went to eBay to put my Uniden PC78LTW up for sale, and I couldn't believe how many CB radios there were available on there. I know truckers still use them, but I was certainly not expecting the industry to still have THAT many buyers out there...not anymore, but when I first put that auction up, there were thirty two active auctions for that one model alone!
For myself, getting a Palm Pilot (m100, represent!) in high school was a freakin' life saver. My hand writing has always been horrible, and the easy-to-learn recognition alphabet it used made my note taking actually worth while.
I know a lot of people that got PDAs that didn't really use them for much, but note taking and keeping track of my homework alone made mine indispensable for me.
Our neighbor picked up an iPad on launch day, and he has definitely experienced the Wi-Fi problem. His Acer Aspire One in his basement can connect to his wireless G Linksys router on his top floor with a good, strong signal. His iPad can BARELY connect while he is on his ground floor, and in his basement you can forget about it. His Aspire One can also see our wireless network as well as the network belonging to folks on the other side of him, but even if he shoves his iPad against the wall dividing our town homes, he still can't even see our router, much less connect to it.
If by "regardless of deed" "regardless of personal choice" is meant, well, it would be pretty pointless to have a doctrine, wouldn't it? Not only are your acts inconsequential, what you believe wouldn't count either!
The "regardless of deed" portion implies I could murder babies and rape women as much as I wanted...so long as I accepted the grace of god, I would still be perfect. That's fucking stupid.
This is my problem with most religion...it could be picked apart by a five year old.
...I think Lucas is so pissed the he will forever be remembered for Star Wars and nothing else that he is purposely driving it into the ground...yet somehow, it still makes him a ton of money.
It's a shame...oh well, at least THX-1138 isn't getting this kind of attention. The "modernization" of it was actually really well done, minus the unnecessary car-chase and CGI scorpion.
I find it odd that the article mentions absolutely NOTHING about the implications of this discovery as it pertains to life on other planets.

Look, it doesn't matter who or where you are. The government has bigger guns than you.
Fixed.
I hate to say this doesn't surprise me, but it doesn't :/

I'd be willing to bet a dumptruck full of Gnutella that the reason why this design decision was made was to maintain the overall look of the device.
Huzzah for form over function!

In short, because some choose not to accept the grace.
But I thought it was regardless of deed...
The long answer would be too long for Slashdot, and frankly, I'm not sure if I have it entirely right.
That's ok...no one does :-)
I know this is old, and I know it's a troll tool...but holy crap is it funny.
As a jew, I find jew jokes to be some of the funniest ones out there :-)
If that's the case, and we are perfect by grace alone and not deeds...why is there a hell?
Stealing, infidelity, lying, deceit, murder, greed...not to mention genocide, slavery, and religious persecution. Yup, we sure are perfect.
Let me guess...that's all the devil's fault, right?
Besides, according to Christians, weren't we made in his image?
I always thought that was weird, because that would mean that god is imperfect...which kinda goes against the whole "omnipotent" thing.
"Can god microwave a burrito so hot that he couldn't eat it?"
lol, who the hell mods the very first post of a story as "redundant"?
Stop fueling my silent rage.
Oh, and apparently this no longer applies exclusively to the USA...slightly modified, of course.
