I'm a young guy who's settled down, and I still see it as an awesome thing. We don't want kids, and my parents don't want grandkids. Her parents already have grandkids because of her sister, so no pressure from that side either.
So how do you explain New Vegas being FAR more buggy than Fallout 3? In theory, New Vegas should be LESS buggy, since the Gamebryo engine has been given time to be perfected.
I actually brought that very point up to him in response, and he replied by saying "Yeah, but then it wouldn't be fun. Look a platypus...god likes to be amused."
I completely agree with you, I was just merely putting his opinion out there, since it's a fairly logical one compared to what you usually hear about creationism.
Indeed. A roommate of mine, who was a religious micro-biologist, insisted that evolution, more-so than anything, is indicative of Intelligent Design/Creationism. In his own words, "What's smarter than designing something that can adapt to its environment entirely on its own?"
As my friends were in college, I was working as a car mechanic, making around 50k a year. Did that for about three years.
Once some of my friends got out of college, many of them couldn't find a job. For the past 5 years, I've been building my career by working as a programmer and, soon (if things go as they look like they will) as a business analyst for call center database development.
And some of my college-educated friends STILL can't find a job. I'm not saying a college education is worthless, but it is something to consider nowadays.
They question the ethics of intense recruitment by colleges that reject the overwhelming majority of applicants.
Come to us, we want you, we need you, we love you! Oh wait...just kidding.
This reminds me of advertising for pharmaceutical drugs. "THIS WILL HELP YOU!!! TAKE IT NAO!!!" Then who does the patient get pissed at when their doctor tells them that drug won't help due to a specific condition? If my time spent in the industry is any indication, it isn't usually the pharmaceutical company...
Back when I worked as a mechanic, the guy that owned the place and a buddy of his used to bring cars into the shop after hours, snort up a line of blow, and go to town. I once watched them pull a motor out of a Honda Civic in 15 minutes, surgeon style (one guy giving and taking tools/nuts/bolts, one guy using the tools to remove said nuts/bolts).
No exaggeration. 15 minutes. It transcended bitchin'.
That's the thing that pisses me off about Boehner...when he speaks in an "unofficial" capacity (i.e. not at a press conference), you can tell that the guy has a real solid head on his shoulders. I think he'll make a great Speaker, and I think he's a good person to have "leading" the Republicans.
The only problem is that any time he is talking in an "official" capacity, his entire vocabulary consists solely of talking points. I know this is part of his role, but still...he nearly literally speaks only in talking points when speaking to the press.
If he is true to his word and extends an olive branch to Obama, I think great things can happen. I'm just worried that he'll try to coat that branch in poison before trying to gift it.
Things tend to be locked down fairly tight around here (Montgomery County, MD)...but I've NEVER encountered anything like this while going to the movies. Sure, I've seen people walk in during opening night to make sure no one is taping the damn thing, but you don't have to go through a security checkpoint or any of that nonsense.
Again, never said it was illegal...just wrong. Or at least, "wrong" as defined according to my own personal opinion of "right" and "wrong". YMMV with that one, lol:)

Unless people constantly empty their "shared" folder....

Tell that to the thousands of people who are able to afford their medication that otherwise couldn't...
Actually, yeah, I guess we could be considered the bad guys...depending on who you are.

Mini AND big??? Whoa, man...
They cloned JLo's arse?
"You know J-Lo doesn't speak spanish, right?"
"She may not, but her ass sure as hell does."

...so...is that what happens when a man-made machine creates a mini-big bang? It causes people to mess up the first post meme?
Possible.
In this case, it's a pharmaceutical call center that runs patient assistance programs, insurance verifications, and denied claims appeals.
Basically, we're the good guys :-)
It's a fun, challenging position that requires a lot of effort and pays decently well. Best of all, it's a great stepping stone in my career.
Where's the problem?

I've seen it happen at race tracks, and other event. 15 minutes require coordination and skill, but it's not unheard of.
yeah, but on race tracks they have more than two people working on the car at a time :p

Absolutely not! That would put us in danger from the tur'rists!

This DOES matter. It will directly impact laws and regulations that matter to nerds.
The real test will be what Boehner does now...will he obstruct, or will he work?
This can be applied to Obama as well.
PG County? I'm pretty sure you could be robbed at gunpoint while sitting in your home home, much less while going to the theater...

Has anyone?
You obviously missed the part of my post which said "That doesn't mean you should."
Strange, considering you included that portion when you quoted me...
