    Technically correct but what constitutes as "approval" seems to have been watered down quite heavily in the perception of the people actually executing this data collection process. For example, you've already been subject to this data collection process for years now. Facebook has decided that your consent was implied by being in close proximity to the mobile device of anyone who had consented already by installing the app. Despite the clear illegality of this, nobody so far has tried to stop them that can't be bribed or fleeced.

    They would already be on the hook for wiretapping violations caused by their app and tracking links if that was gonna happen. The problem is that our own government is just as interested in illegally collecting such data as the other cyber criminal gangs are.

    The auction house in World of Warcraft taught me more about the real value of money than anything my parents or teachers could muster in the era before online gaming. I guess maybe that just supports your point about incompetent parenting, though.

    You should avoid carbohydrates too. Cut them out of the diet completely for a good month or two in fact, then re-introduce them in very small measures. Bulk up on animal protein. Always grilled or broiled. Do not fry, boil, or bake. Green vegetables, but not the "leafy" ones; they are useless. Go for broccoli, asparagus and the like - and this is important - you must never microwave the vegetables.

    Alright, you're trying to make this a dig about Republicans all being fat, and it's working, but you don't have to go that far for the punch line here. The truth is that this is about religious fanaticism more than party lines. The (+80% Christian) Republicans think type 1 diabetes is punishment from God, because you're born with it. That is why they care less about it than type 2.

    Nvidia also sells the hardware used in the Nintendo Switch as well as another line of high-end gaming tablets. Don't get me wrong, I would like to see them taken down a peg too, but it doesn't look to me like they're out of markets to trample.

    Facebook doesn't have any idea who requested the deletion. It could have been any member of the public or their own staff. They just don't have that tight of a lock down on server access, period. That's why they're keeping silent; this would look very bad for them if people started to realize they had no control over their own staff, let alone the monster they've created.
