    I can appreciate this concern, but yes, this is something that is easy to be sure of if you're vaguely experienced with Linux.

    What happened to "do no evil"?

    I'm pretty sure that it was reported upon and in fact even re-posted here on Slashdot when it was noticed publicly that they had removed it from their company charter. It's worth noting though that it was never any sort of official, legally-binding commitment. More just an idea about a statement of purpose that they have since apparently changed their minds about.

    This is actually false though. It may be what its being used for, but its not what the H1B program is officially supposed to be for. Officially, its supposed to only be used to fill jobs when no US citizen can be found qualified, period.

    If robots and AI take over more and more of the jobs that humans used to do, then the products those jobs produce will decrease in price.

    Remember when Hostess, Inc. shut their doors, ceased all operations and then dissolved the business in protest of the Affordable Care Act?

    Yea. You'd have to enforce low profit margins while somehow incentivising businesses to not just shut their doors.
