Wow, this is a great tread. I have to say that I agree that this is a theory worth pursuing to, at the very least, mark it off the list of possible truths.
As for the comment a few (and growing) back:
Therefore I propose that the universe we experience is really just the eye of an aether system. Once you get beyond the aether, it really is turtles all the way down. This is more valid then I think it is being credited for. Yes, it sounds ridiculous and more than likely isn't true, but I remember a story about the earth being round and , God forbid, NOT the center of the universe. We cannot dismiss ANY theories, regardless of our ability to explore then.
The next major demise will be "Insurance". Watch for it. So, are you saying that the thousands of dollars that I have pumped into my car insurance is likely going to disappear?
It's about time the recording industry collapsed. Maybe I'm just bitter, but last CD I bought cost $17, very little of which went to the artist. 90% of the money made in the music industry is not music sales but concerts, t-shirts, bobble-heads... you get the picture. Free the music!!
In a lot of cases 'they' didn't invest in the initial development, 'they' are simply the license holder. And the gamecube controller working on the Wii is called backwards compatibility, and it is the standard; has been since PS2.
A modded xbox with 2 wireless controllers NES, SNES, Gameboy, PSX, SEGA, etc. plus thosands of ROMs... Thats how I play, and it doesn't get much better.
It's about time the xbox has useful.
It's so much easier to play these games on a TV, without getting an extra computer, just for your TV. I would gladly pay $5-$10 for the quality of play offered by the Wii. Here's some of the advantages. Displays perfectly on your TV without messing with driver settings. Games list can be navigated with the Wiimote. The controls are much more responsive than any emulator I've ever played. Games on the TV is a good point, but how many times would you be willing to pay $5-$10 and the quality is not a noticeable difference. The Wiimote is bluetooth so you can use it on a PC if you really want and I have never, ever encountered a emulator for any console that screws with driver settings. As far as control responsiveness, I simply disagree. Not trying to bash your opinions, just don't want people to be mislead.
This guy's talking about 1 to 4 dreams per night, which would mean that he's talking mostly about dreams we don't remember. yeah, i know, thats why I find it hard to believe that physical response is tied so tightly to it. maybe it's my pride, but I don't believe that I have so little control of myself in a dangerous situation.
if anyone out there decides to start developing for Wii, i would love to be involved. my game development skills are minimal, but my innovation and determination are not.

When I was in college, if you needed extra money all you had to do was sell some weed.
I'm glad to see that sperm finally has a good use...
it is quite easy for a companies numbers to reflect that they are doing well when the is little or no initial investment.
ah, good point.
DS games are already downloadable on the PC.
What about all those dreams you can't remember, can they really have that great of an effect on physical response?
I love Anonymous Cowards, there so cool.
Thanks for being a jerk. (It makes me look better)

so what, are you too good for beer? because if you are, Microsoft might not be the best choice...
Wow, it would be cool to see Mars take a major hit... Maybe it would push enough gas out of the molten part of the planet to produce an atmosphere.
dido, but they called dell about their windows problems.
sweet!
I don't like them either, so why did you ask?
forgive me for not reviewing before replying. I can only assume you mean compy, monitor, etc. If this is the case, then yes for under $700.
