I know what you mean -- I happen to enjoy working with very competent female programmers. (I mean real server-side programming, too, not just HTML or something.:P)
However, the vast majority of them don't seem to have any interest in computing as a science -- it just seems to be a job. Mention anything outside of that which is immediately applicable to their jobs, any most of the time they've never heard of it...
A lot of states' Domestic Terrorism websites say that -- it was part of a package deal or something given out by the DHS, story broke about a year or two ago.
You know, we act facetious on here when we joke about "freedom and liberty is dead" and all that, but the fact remains that we're living in a very scary place when "quoting the Constitution" is considered grounds for suspicion of being a terrorist...
My experience with smartphones is that pretty much _all_ of them use a standard mini-type USB connector to recharge -- something I always have plugged into my computer for use with tons of other stuff, anyway.
Exactly -- just hook up the dongle to your IEM's, and forget about it. Then, you're not carrying around a dongle with your phone, you're just carrying around your phone and your IEM's (which already have a dongle on them).
You have to carry them around anyway -- an additional 3 inches of dongle shouldn't matter to you, should it?
I mentioned MacOS once, and you call it a "tout?" Your rabid anti-fanboyism is showing.
And regardless of a hardware lock (or not), I really don't think it costs much more than $100 to make any PC OS, considering once they're done, they can just print up as many copies as they want.
Aye, it's confusing. I'm guessing it's because, in reality, all versions of Windows aren't worth any more than a decent copy of MacOS (around $100), probably less, and having all these fancy "Enterprise" and "Ultimate" versions of things enable them to sell something for $300 which normally should sell for $100.
That make any sense? The packaging, production, and stuff included with "Ultimate" doesn't really cost any more for Microsoft to produce than the cheapest version (is BitLocker really worth that much?), so if they sell it for $300, they're making a nice bit of change.
I don't know what you're talking about -- I just hate headaches.
"Not surprisingly, some say Obama's choice of a Google-party-goer who worships Google could cause big headaches for Microsoft."
Man, that's just terrible news.
That's a nice story, but you must realize that your observations do NOT mirror those of Americans as a whole.
Soon we are a 2nd world country.
Soon we'll be part of the USSR?

More like 70 to 80 thousand. The surviving Hain probably would have traveled to our world to escape the cataclysm there on the fourth planet.
Hey, not bad -- got the free version to try it out. Nice spin on regular tetris -- good to see something different!
If it catches on with me I'll even make it my first app store purchase. ;)
There were some guys doing this for the Google developer's contest on Android back in the day: http://www.enkin.net/
There's a video that shows you how well it worked -- don't know what happened to them, though.
What's your app? I'll give it a look.
What? Of course I'll pay for it.
Ah, but until we're all paid the same domestically, the complaints will continue.
You mean the girl who, once you get past her somewhat confusing exterior, is actually capable, passionate, and a friend for life?

None of that mattered if the connection number you had to dial was long-distance...

Not familiar with that discussion. :P

Well, the G1 has two of those three things you want, there. :D
The first one seems to be something that's more of a carrier thing, though.
Android's been ported to quite a bit of other phones, though it is just for hackers now.

As I imagine, everyone uses their smart phones as "just a god damn phone," as well as doing plenty else with it.
I really don't understand people and their problems with smartphones -- if you don't like it, don't use it. :\ No one's forcing you to use one.
Well, I can say that the themes work great, at least: http://lifehacker.com/5147379/get-hps-dark+themed-mini-look-on-your-ubuntu-desktop
If you're looking for employees in about 15 years, give me a call.

He probably means he preordered it back when it was available to be preordered, and has since received it and is happy with it.
It actually seems like a pretty cool device.
Why travel to the moon? The average person has no purpose there.
For that matter, why design the ICE? Walking or horseback is just enough for anyone.
You sure that's not Bush's twitter you're imagining? It looks like what one would expect...
