Calling his Grandmother a "Typical White Person", or calling Police "Stupid" concerns me much more than a technicality of the phrase "Legitimate Rape"!
If it had been anyone else who made this remark, even Obama, no one would care! The media is on the attack and will use any lame stupid excuse to attack someone they don't like. I'm sick of hearing it, I don't care, it doesn't concern me, just shut up already!
Once you let them have access to your network, they will rely on it more and more, till they saturate your network. Unless they want to pay for using my equipment and my service, I say no way!
From the movie 2001 a space odyssey, they showed a flat screen touch tablet very similar to an iPad. Apple has been known to steal ideas from others, example - the GUI from Xerox, and the Mouse. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKt9ZyDmA44. Apple is not the first to come up with this idea!
Yea I think getting a PhD at such a late stage is more effort than it's worth. The cost alone will probably bankrupt you, and then you'll most likely need to relocate. If you have family, then your probably already rooted where you are. Like the previous poster noted, not everyone wants to pay the salary of a PhD, when all they really need is someone with a BA or MS.
I used to teach at a local community college, and I found Excel to be the best tool for grading students work. Once you have your spreadsheet setup the way you like, its easy to re-use with each new class. I created Macros to highlight a students progress so I could show them how well their doing, what assignments they missed, and overall grade. I'm sure you could try using a database like Access, or something like Moodle, but if you just need something simple, and easy to customize, Excel is the way to go.
The Wireless Carriers will define what a smart phone is. If your phone has too many features, like "3mp or better camera, gps, etc." they will call it a smart phone, so they can force you into purchasing a data plan. I've seen older touchscreen phones that once came without a data plan, but now they require you to get a data plan. It's just another way to force people into paying for something they don't need. You want a phone with a good camera, or maybe gps, you'll be forced into getting a data plan.
Try finding a phone with a good camera on it without having to pay a data plan, there is none. They purposely make the basic phones junk, forcing everyone to buy a smart phone so the wireless carriers can make more money.
This sounds like a very inefficient use of a tape storage unit. Unless all your data is in cache, it would take a long time to access something on Tape. You would also be wearing down your Tape Drive and the Tapes from the constant updates that would have to be made. Tapes are designed to run on a scheduled time, to make the most use out of them.
Tapes are not useless. They may be impractical to use as a NAS, but they are great for archiving data. We use Tape Backups at work because they are a cheap way to archive lots of data. A single tape can store 1.2 TB of data and cost only $25. We can backup a history of our data for years at minimal cost. I wouldn't use tapes as a sole means to backup critical data, but as a secondary backup or archive, it's a great investment.
No I think your wrong. I haven't seen any evidence that my ISP throttles File Sharing. I can download legit Torrent files very quickly, but try downloading a movie and it's almost impossible unless you encrypt the connection, and even then it's still very slow. There is clear evidence that many ISP's have ways to stop torrents from seeding and limiting their bandwidth, and it all depends on what you are downloading.
They programmed all the cars to avoid hitting each other, but forgot to tell the cars to also avoid hitting everything else.

Everyone would be leeching off the only person paying for Internet!

Since all these people running the legal system are on crack, you need to smoke the same stuff to understand their perspective.
There is one thing in common with Beiber, Klout, and Obamah, they all mean nothing to me.
Here in Maine, the Mosquito's will drain your blood long before the West Nile Virus can do any damage. It's been an unusually humid, and wet summer.
Now you can see what I mean!
What will the licensing fee be, to use this new toilet?

A PhD opens up some BIG doors, but closes many small doors. You have to see how many TOP positions are available in your area.

All these great new features and no one knows how to use the software, because we all learned Microsoft Office.

Our Tape Unit holds 8 Tapes. That's 9.6 TB that can be backed up at once, for about $200.

OMG, hey Bone Head, where do you think the word Piracy came from? Pirates steal! Get it! It doesn't matter if I keep it for myself or sell it.
If you download.a movie or song that you didn't pay for, its called piracy! Look it up.
