    Culture and Brain Washing causes people to hate each other based on color, race, gender or religion. Its the same reason why many Muslims hate Jews. Kids are indoctrinated at a young age to think a certain way, and that becomes their mind set as an adult. If Black kids are taught to hate Whites, then they probably will commit crimes against them, and vice-versa.

    Some movies work well with 3D, some don't. I watched Tron in 3D and I thought it was spectacular, but watching Clash of the Titans in 3D wasn't all that great. To me 3D is a novelty, sort of like surround sound. If you have it, you might use it once in awhile just to experience something new.

    And it's not just CO2 causing global warming. Humans have cut down 1/3 of the world's forest and built millions of roads. Plus all the live stock creates lots of methane (another global warming gas). It's the combination of many things that we do, causing climate change.

    I think with some common sense and a little science, it's not hard to figure out whats going on here. Same thing was said about Cigarettes and Cancer, how much more proof do you need that there's repercussions for doing bad things. Just look around you, look at what we are doing.

    I don't think we have the technology to build a Terminator. The Power Source required is not available yet, and then you need very sophisticated A.I. which is still at least a decade away. They should concentrate on building Mechs instead.

    I have an HP Touchpad with ICS installed on it, has everything I need for commuting. I use Itap RDP to remote into computers and servers, the mail client works great, even supports exchange. Other tools I use; VPN, Skype, and Facebook. A tablet is the perfect tool on the go.

    Things are escalating much faster than most people are predicting. Global warming is a good example, they said it would be a few hundred years before we see climate change, now it's only a few decades. In Australia, people are hunting animals at such an alarming rate, that most of the outbacks are empty. At this pace, we will need to find Earth #2, if we want to survive.

    I wish ActiveX was dead, but sadly it is not, at least not yet. There are too many sites and applications that use it, making it impossible to switch browsers for this reason.

    The only reason IE is so popular at work is because of Active X Scripts. Many of the work related websites require it, especially financial sites, and schools. Until other browsers can fully support ActiveX, IE will always dominate. Microsoft's way of monopolizing the browsers.

    It's bad enough that someone will be talking on a bluetooth headset without you knowing, making it seem strange that someone is talking to them selves. Now they will be looking at you and talking to someone else. I can see it now - "Are you looking at me?" "What are you looking at!", hmm.

    LOL! the place has been evacuated for a 50 mile radius, and some claim that's still too close, and you're telling me that scientist are strolling off shore doing some testing? If you believe that, you a bigger fool than I imagined.

    They only reason those Enterprise Drives last longer is because they are used in Servers or Storage units that provide much better cooling and power regulation. Put an expensive hard drive in a cheap case and it will fail just as quickly as any other.

    Those tests mean nothing. When a chunk of radioactive sludge washes up on some shore and people get sick from it, you won't hear about it in the news, they'll sweep it under the rug. They lied about how bad the disaster was at fukushima, they lied about the oil spill in the gulf, and they lie about the pink slime in beef. Sorry I don't feel your optimism, but I don't trust what they say.

    When they said local area, how close did they get? 100 miles from the site? No scientist in their right mind is going to get close to that place and do some testing.

    It depends on how critical your data is. There are many different types of Raids, like Raid 6, 10, or 50, and if you have a good storage unit with redundant controllers and a couple of hot spare, you should be all set. The chances of a total failure of multiple drives/controllers is very slim, and that's what nightly backups are for anyway. We use a Dell PowerVault MD 3220 - Dual Controllers, Dual Power Supplies, Raid 50 with 2 hot spares. Chances of losing data from Hard Drive failure is like winning the lottery.
