  1. History Repeating itself -Over and Over! on The Behind-the-Scenes Campaign To Bring SOPA To Canada · · Score: 5, Insightful

Why does Tyranny always come back to societies over and over. Seems throughout history, humans just can't put an end to dictatorship rule! All these new laws are being put in place to control our lives until we all become puppets on a string.

Do I have the right to THINK? I mean, what's the point in Free Speech if you can express yourself freely. If the Government Censors the Internet, we might as well be living in Iran. Isn't this why our Founders created the Bill of Rights? If the Government could have limited the Internet, they would have done it Long Ago! It's obvious they are looking for loopholes to get around this.

  8. Re:Violates human rights? on Sir Tim Berners-Lee Speaks Out On SOPA · · Score: 2

So is the News Paper, or a Cell Phone! If you limit some people from using these tools, while allowing others, your limiting people's free speech! The Government doesn't own the Internet, no more than they own my Computer, so they need to get their greesy hands off!

  9. Make Cameras not Printers! on Kodak Files For Bankruptcy Protection · · Score: 1

Kodak started out by making cameras and now they plan to just make Printers? Makes no sense to me. Kodak still has the brand that fits with cameras, not Printers. When I think of buying a printer, I think HP, or Epson, not Kodak.

The fear of radiation poisoning seems to me to be an infantile reaction similar to fear of the dark(nyctophobia). It's a fear of something that we can't see, and can't quantify with our own senses. Why be mindlessly afraid of radiation when it can be measured and the risks are understood? I'm not particularly afraid of travelling to Tokyo when Fukushima is hundreds of kilometers away and virtually unaffected?

And that's what people said about smoking. People don't worry about dangers until it hits them, but as long as I'm aware of it, I'll stay away!
