I have to admit they can take a beating I've thrown one one of a car window (crappy game/non-collectable) and it still worked, however driving the car over it didn't fare so well.
I can't really disagree with you because you have a good/valid point.
Where I mostly have a problem is when the existence of copyright affects my freedom. Bandwidth throttling is a good example, because ISPs use piracy as an excuse to commit fraud and my government are spending my money to fight piracy instead of punishing rapists, murderers and fixing hospitals and roads.
As a Tax payer I object to any government involvement regarding piracy and believe that the government should serve in the interest of it people and fight ISPs who violate their users privacy to aid corporations.
So my problem is not so much the artist trying to make an honest buck for their work, its the people who try to screw me over in the name of copyright.
Porn spam often contains the words "fuck" and "cunt" so its easy to see why those words might be used in a primative filter, I myself have stopped users registering names similar to "admin", "support", "help" in the past for obvious reasons, but this user already existed in the system so it should not have been a problem and Verizon staff should have seen that it is legit.
But "Shit" is not normally considered to be a rude word.
I can understand if the name was Cuntington but "shit" is an everyday word (So is "cunt" where I live) and part of someone's name.
I've never understood the whole profanity thing, why would someone want to be offended by a word, you would think people would have better things to do than create reasons to be offended.
The sharing of ideas and information would dry up, because there is no protection for that work.
Copyright holds back innovation and prevents the spread of knowledge and ideas.
Open Source provides a good example of how well colaberative contribution works. Without copyright we are all free to trade and share information and ideas.
Would you rather run Windows?

failing that check the post-it note on the underside.
Don't you think people have a right to know if their partner is cheating?
plz excuse my spam.
finally
A dim bulb brightens.
Any non-native White American would also be sued because most of you came from europe at some point.
If your a white American, are you sure those rejects arn't related to you?
I just noticed now that firefox has no "block sender " option.
Mayb we should bring back the ability for users to block senders rather than have the idiots abuse the spam button.
I can honestly say I have never falsely reported something as Spam.
If I ever was that lazy I would hit "block" rather than anything else.
A fucked up spam filter is a sympton of useing crappy email solutions.
What would you consider a "real" email address?

I think that says more about where you live than the use of the words...
I'm a Truck driver in Australia, some of the people I deal with are not what people here would consider civilised.

Sad thing is that western countries desire to be like them. (censorship)
How do we know its a resturant?
I thought it would be more likely a computer repair shop.
I'm not farmiliar with the iPhone, what options do you have for updates? can you turn them off or do apples force them upon you?

But proof is a burden, why should we have to provide it when our word is good enough?
Abolish copyright laws then all this crap can stop.
Im a tax payer and I feel duped having my tax dollars go to private corporations.
Illegaly interfered with?
If you make an update you agree to the changes that come with it.
I do not agree with what the troll did, but neither are the women correct in the pursuit to eliminate anonymity.
The actions of the troll only affected the victims wereas the action of these women could affect us all.
Secondly, I havn't seen these womens real names pop up anywhere they seem pretty anonymous to me.
I did do a few google searches and was unsucsessful.
