I know it's now cool to backlash against chrome users when they talk about "memory usage" but they're simply just using the wrong phrase. YES chrome uses more actual bytes of memory and always has, but what it does with that memory makes it work so much faster than Firefox. Typical idiot vernacular causes you to say "firefox uses more memory" when in fact what they mean is "it is slower and less responsive."
Let's get a grip here people, it's 2012. If your computer doesn't have 4-8 gigs of ddr3 ram, you're doing it wrong. Chrome is allowed to use as much memory as it wants as long as it gets the job done better than anyone else.

There is nothing worse than seeing another drooling, gps-addled half-wit darting back over the danger zone of an exit and nearly causing an accident. I honestly think they should be banned completely. I've found that merely studying my google maps for any destination and having a basic concept of direction (all of 5 minutes of work) are far more useful. And since one more megabyte of your internal brain-ram is now free from glancing nervously at the little glowing rectangle stuck to your windshield, you are more free to actually notice that hole-in-the-wall Indian place you wanted to try.
Lasers have always confused me, and maybe someone smarter than me can explain this. Why can't you just hold up a mirror, or create something even more reflective to make weapons grade lasers useless? Isn't it just light?
I'd say the reverse is more true. The more you post online the more accurately you paint your alibi. If you've got a constant stream of "I just walked into this bar!" and "the bartender gave me her number!" and "I just had sex with her!" it's then easy to find witnesses and prove you didn't stab that hooker last night.
This makes no sense and is the very core of the problem with our current political system. If Al Franken shares your views on big issues and also holds a seat in congress, then you should support Al Franken. If he does not share you views, then kick him out. Supporting a corrupt, incestuous oligarchy is EXACTLY THE FUCKING PROBLEM WITH THE COUNTRY RIGHT NOW. Who gives a shit if the man was born to be a politician or if he was born to be a comedian? If he's right, then he's right.

-The ENTIRE SERVICE can be upgraded indefinitely. After they fleshed out the latency issues they've been steadily increasing graphics quality, both in-game and the compression. You fucking morons seem to think it launched and they did nothing to improve it afterwards. Stop jumping to ignorant conclusions.
It's not simply the fact that Net Neutrality is the 20 page book report being torn into tiny pieces by the classroom bullies that are the telcos. It's that this has been a pattern of behavior between big business and government for decades. I'm starting to think armed revolution is our only way out of the downward spiral.
I meant the digital audio now flowing through my ipod is often ripped off a vinyl. Yeah they probably recorded the concert on a tape but you usually find these things on 7" records

The problem basically stems from people having zero taste and diversity in music. When I was in my music sharing heyday, it was on Soulseek with a nice room full of friends who all enjoyed similar variations on harsh punk and noise music. Not a single one of the artists I found in my time there can be purchased on iTunes or found in even the dankest of dank music shops. Most recordings are live bootlegs captured off of vinyl from the 70s and 80s. I was never afraid of being sued because these bands were real, and never even had an indie label, let alone a big one.
The moral of the limewire/filesharing lawsuit stories? Get some taste.
Limewire has been so painfully irrelevant for the past 8 years now that it laughable to even still hear the name. It's like when an old man mentions "That damn Napster" as a free music service. I can only imagine the people who still use this thing are admins just wanting to test their corporate anti-virus.
So all I have to do is have this gene ripped out of my DNA and I can think clearly like a proper conservative? I was getting tired of caring about human rights and freedom.
