If there is any way that robots do come into everyday life, they will most certainly be used for personal services. I rather think that most people rich enough to have personal robots will take care of them on their own.
However if robots become independent citizens(I don't see this happening thanks to stigma perpetrated by hollywood), the three laws of robotics should take care of everything anyway.
And here I thought that CSS meant Content Scrambling System(This is the 10th anniversary of CSS btw) which isn't a great thing to celebrate since it was cracked in a three years.
I honestly believe that placing ads in *any* game will ruin the immersion of the game. The most recent game, BF2142, that tried to put ads in games caused me to not buy the game at all. Not only was BF2142 a clone of Battlefield 2, but it had advertising too. I think that EA knew that their new game was unorignal and basically Battlefield 2 rehashed, that is why they added advertising to milk the genre.
Besides, one can easily put the ad servers in the hosts file on their computer. This is exactly what I did with Planetside(When they added advertisements), and it worked very well.
Advertisements simply won't work in video games,
Hey, maybe **AA will realize that their strong arm tactics are killing innovation and progress just like these people did. Anything can happen, but I wouldn't count it.
1: As Gore points out in the movie, most of the "scientists" who don't believe in Global Warming are either those who have no right to speak(Non-Ecologists) or are astroturfing.
2: Actually, you might want to look into Fusion and even Solar power.
3: You crying about their crying about Global Warming *also* does nothing for the current situation.
4: I remember reading this somewhere but A disk a couple of miles wide in diameter between the Sun & Earth(LaGrange Point) will produce enough energy to power the world. Just a thought.
Or maybe something in the old republic era...
Several years to develop a new optical storage device with an emphasis on DRM, cracked in a few months.

The real question is will it take a part of WoW's part of the pie.
If you're using firefox, you must get Flash Block. If I didn't have flashblock to block all the annoying advertisements, I'd go insane.
