    Normally when someone makes allegations it is because they do feel victimized. Of course it is up to the courts to see if what they did happen was indeed wrong.
    However it is way too easy to just say they are just over reacting, when there is a problem. When there is a Allegation, you need to take it seriously. Normally the people who get in trouble with this, during the investigation is due to many woman stating it is an issue, and not just one poorly phrase comment, or an accidental touch, but a historical trend of problems.

    You example about the dead body. You are stating that if they found a dead body and a person next too it. They will just take his word that he had nothing to do about it, and do no further investigation, and no autopsy. If there is an allegation or some evidence it should be investigated.
    And the person who feels that they are being wronged shouldn't be afraid of standing up for it.

    Culturally men need to initiate romantic relations. However in terms of work, this puts the woman in a bad spot, because if she shuts them down, either they may loose a good working relationship, or be in a position where they are powerless to avoid retribution.

    The fact that they have legal standing, meaning if there is threat that they can bring up legal action, should put men who would try to do this, or even try to push the line.

    They are sexual tensions, but we don't need to act on them.

    The real issue that I see, is that the Windows Phone didn't bring anything to the table. It was just a Me Too attempt.
    The Market was already dominated by Apple as the design that other base after. And Android was the alternative that worked on all the non-apple devices.
    Google beat Microsoft to the rest of the devices game.

    If Microsoft brought something good to the table, Support for native x86 windows applications? or just better cross platform support. That may had been enough to change the market.

    With the only exception with the XBox line. Microsoft had had a hard time trying to get people off the windows x86 platform.
    Failures such as
    Zune, Windows CE, Windows NT for Alpha... When ever Microsoft looses PC Comparability it has a hard time in the market.

    Ahh, Good old Victim Blaming.
    Because women love all the media attention and judgments, putting their career at risk, just for a payday, that is probably less than a full year wage. Well worth loosing out on a career that you wanted to do all your life.

    A person who is poor could save up for a few status symbol. However a low status person having a High Status item, Means people will not treat him as low status until they learn more about him.

    I had a larger nicer car, then I had moved to a smaller more practical car. While my Driving habits haven't changed much. I found that they are more aggressive driving around me, with my smaller car, then when I had the fancier car.
    When people saw me in the fancy car, they assumed that I was more important, more wealthy, thus more likely to treat my space in the road with more respect. When I have the smaller car, they judge me less so, so they will treat me with less respect.

    Products are not always about utility. That is why some people have Luxury Car while others have the basic cars. Some people like sport cars that can go real fast even though most roads cannot handle them. Some people will buy a watch for thousands of dollars, while it will work just as well as a cheapo one that you can get out of a vending machine.

    Like it or not, status symbols have value in our culture. Even if you see someone with one and you think they are a pretentious snob, it means the status symbol is working. Because a truly ineffective status symbol is something that someone has and no one really cares or makes any judgement based on it. Say the brand of paperclips you use.

    I am for renewable energey. However before you start claiming it is cheaper than the historical energy sources. I would like to know if tax deductions and subsidies are taken out of the equation. Because we are paying for it, in one way or another.
    These tax tricks are good to help kickstart the industry. But still remember money from the government isn't free, we are paying for it. And money we don't pay on taxes means less money to other services as well.

    However if you lose your credit card chances are you will also lose you cash. As most of us usually keep them in the same place. However with things like Apple Pay, you have a secondary access your card services. As you normally don't keep your cell phone in your wallet. For people who carry purses, then that is still a problem.

    Even with all the Cyber-attacks. You are still safer using your credit card, Vs having to carry around a set of paper and medal disks. Where they can get lost, or just tossed out (Pennies) just because the inconvenience of having it is greater then its value.

    Then these physical currencies can get destroyed from fire, where if it cannot be collected. Sure the US will try to refund damaged currency. But only what it can prove. If you give them a box of ashes then you are out of luck.

    Finally your money is at risk all the time. The paper is just a note saying the government IOU, for these services. When your money goes into the bank. It is all digital just a number, which gets moved to different banks, pays for peoples loans, even the cash will be used to cash the next guys paycheck. In this digital form it is at risk of digital attack again.

    The cherry brown is the quiet tactical switch. I have it for my keyboard. It still makes a lot of noise, far more then the membrane. But I think it is because I still haven't learned to type lightly.

    The Das Keyboard got Nkey to work over USB. From my understanding it connects as multiple keyboards as to keep that feature.

    Progress, normally starts with a lets see if if we can do this.
    Once we know how to get there, then we can determine if there is a value on returning. Sure we romantically see a Sci-Fi future of a Mars colony, however Mars at its best is Earth at its worst, for us. There is value in protecting or species in expanding out, a Mars colony will help hedge our bets on survival. A solar eruption has a slim chance on hitting both Earth and Mars. Also having two extinction level asteroids hitting both Earth and Mars at the same time.

    You can say that about nearly every feature put into an Operating System. Changes to Memory Management, Changes to the multi-processing algorithm. Every time you add a level of complexity there is a chance you could create a problem, that is more difficult to fix.

    I would say the extra time used for this process is an acceptable trade-off for enhanced security. Uniformity is the biggest security risk that these systems face. If the bad guys knows where all the pieces are on a lot of systems, then they know how to successfully target their attacks.

    That being said, there is a lot of effort in protecting the core system, but protecting your home directory, is where the valuable data normally is. I would like to see Operating systems setup with Application level security with User level security. Right now the main workaround is having the particular application run logged in as a user. I would like to see the applications have their own security permissions outside of the user account.

    Normally the stereotype smart guy not getting the girl. Is due to some other flaws not because they are smart.
    However family planning is a new concept where it makes more personal economic since to have less children then more, while good for the economy on a large scale. However right now we are faced with overpopulation as a stresser too. We cannot afford to use up the resources faster then they can be made and we need to preserve for the next generation.

    All we need is hard work myth.
    Success comes from hard work, but it also comes from being smart, creative, efficient, lucky and knowing the right people.
    America and Asia are stuck on the Hard Work = success and failure means you didn't work hard enough.
    Our value as a human being isn't based on how much money we have or what we do. Just because we are willing to do a job that is hard to fill.
    Our value is based on how we handle our lives.
    If you are working flipping burgers. You probably made dozens of people happy that day if you did your job right. As they wanted a burger and was satisfied by it.
    If you are on tech support and helped someone solve a problem they are very happy and you may have turned they day around.
    Work shouldn't define you, but you should define your work.

    Which leads to Japan's problem and the US problem if we stop emigration. They are so defined on what they do for work they are going to overlook someone who they are willing to fall in love with, because they just don't do the same thing or their job isn't good enough.

    There is a tendency for the courts to favor the mother in custody rights.
    However most divorces don't go to that extreme where they choose for joint custody. Normally when it gets that bad it is because the child is under harm with the care of the individual.
    Sadly normally the father is the cause of the problem. Being that the guy is rather scummy anyways he has a hard time functioning in society. So he ends up loosing his job because he is a jerk and lazy so they fire him. Driving like a jerk so he gets into trouble where they revoke his license. And child support now takes a large percentage of his income, because he doesn't make so much.
    Unfortunately the mother needs to be really bad for custody to go to the father. So if the mom is the scummy jerk she is crying that she is the victim.

    However this is more the exception then the rule. Most devorces are about compromise and a civil distribution of the family wealth.

    Xhamster was commented as part of a news story or webcomic that had a population that just didn't get it so they looked it up.

    Xhamster did something to get better search results for a particular fetish so where it didn't show up it may had topped the search list. And people wanted to verify it as a legit porn site.

    There is sexism involved. To get these Visa needs effort from the Host Government U.S. and the Government willing to let the person go (Afghan).
    Right now the US is under the rules of a Crazy man, with the Crazy embolden to take the orders and make things harder. Then you have Afghan who has a history of sexism who will not probably go the extra mile to try to get the Visa from the U.S. Because of some middle manager in immigration who is now empowered to block people who cable news says they are to be afraid of. If the country pushes further chances are they will get someone who is more willing to do their job properly.

    If only people could get past their middle school snickering when ever sex is brought up.
    Western society is currently expanding its view on sexuality and acceptance of different forms of sexuality as legally and socially acceptable. We are now realizing that sexual preference is not a choice but part of the person.
    Now we have the problem with pedophiles. They have a sexual attraction to kids. There isn't much we can do about that, we can't change them. But unlike many other sexual preferences this leads to dangerous behavior. Because the children who are the object of their affection are not in a position of power to consent, and haven't learned or even considered learning stradigied to avoid unwanted attention. That is why any action can get them in jail and labeled as a sex offender for life.
    However there are a lot of these people who are not in jail, and due to their moral compass they choose to repress their sexual tendencies as they know the harm is in it.
    But that is where the problem is sexuality is a core instinct. We can will off an instinct however it is a lot of work, and a lapse could cause a problem.

    Arbitration and sueing a company has nothing to do about the need for the product or availability of competitors.
    If they take your money and you don't get what you thought you paid for, or the product had harmed you in some way then you have the right to sue. Then the courts will decide if your issue was indeed a legitimate problem or not.
    Giving legal resources to people who buy and trade goods and services is the foundation of society.

    Common knowledge is usually correct. However you should use the scientific process to back it up. Because they are often factors that cause this that hasn't been studied or a wrong cause and effect relationships.
