I heard about the touch disease. But not the phones exploding when using approved devices. There were some issues a while back where people got some third party chargers that they were plugging there phone straight into the AC socket. As for the Touch Disease it is a problem but it isn't affecting people's safety.
Ok I admit that I use iOS devices more than android. But why the hate towards Samsung with the good riddance. I would much rather see them fix the phone so it's users will have a nice safe phone. Vs what it would be now a possibility exploding collectors item. That in 20 years you can sell to a collector for about a grand.
Samsung has been pushing the quality of Android phones. They are no longer cheap Apple rip offs but their own phone market. Where Apple has to take notice and the competition impress their phone as well.
Well the story more or less states that Google is putting attention on reducing the memory footprint in chrome. Now how will that affect overall performance is a big question.
As a professional comedian/cartoonist. There is a seriousness inside his joke. He may or may not be really endorsing any candidate. But using absurdness of endorsing to point out problems. Over the past generation or so. We have been equating a person's personal ethics and their stance as a human being based on their political and who they vote for.
Studies show that a person's political stance is based on what they grew up with. So if you lived in a republican family with republican friends you will be republican or vice versa. Growing up in such an environment the opposing political party is seen as evil, stupid, or part of some grand conspiracy. So attacks on that candidate of your choosing are usually ignored or considered exaggerated for political reasons. While what they do well, is strongly weighed. Thus making your choice seem perfectly rational.
Now if you are actually a person in the middle, and you observe all these families and lives you find that they are quite similar, have the same problems and often think of the same solution, until the party of their choice states it is different.
While I personally will be voting for Clinton,it isn't because Trump voters are all racists. Nor do I expect the democratic party turn the US into a communist nation.
Cure you and your futuristic technology. Why can't we just stick to the technology of 10 years ago. I mean just ask Sony batteries never exploded then!
Good luck. Genetic Engineering is the other boogy man. You have the conservatives denying global warming. And the liberals fear mongering genetic engineering.
I remember a decade ago they came up with a biodegradable plastic made from genetically engineered corn. The environmentalist protested against it because it was GMO.
True environmentalism is understanding the consequences of the choices and choosing the best option to solve the biggest problem. There is no magical solution. Just picking the best trade off. Back in the 1900's gasoline was chosen for car fuel for environmental reasons. High energy per quantity low price. Allowed cars to replace horses who provided environmental problems that were causing a lot of people to get ill.
Well not really. The tone when someone says evolution in action is implying a simplistic view of evolution on where the inferior will get killed for being inferior due to some guiding control of evolution. The point I was trying to make to go past the tone was to state that this subset of the population is protected so they are allowed to take additional risks.
Well it is. But not in the way you are implying it. We as humans need to know the appropriate amount of risk to take. To much risk we kill ourselves. To little we do not grow and succeed thus are not an appropriate mating option. During the teen years you are of suffient strength, intelligence, and ability to try new things however human culture tends to give us still that extra level of protection to prevent us from actually trying to jump off that cliff. Humans are aggressive animals who take risks that exceed what most other animals may take, and part of that sucrsss as a species is knowing where that risk line falls.
The idea of replaceable batteries is a lost cause. If you feel that strongly about this cause. I would suggest that you put effort into designing a replaceable battery design. That maximizes battery space, minimizes weight, makes the device waterproof, insures proper battery life. and doesn't make the device any bulker.
Perhaps the issue that caused that one phone to have a shorter life span was from a designed where if it used the battery as is, it would had exploded.
Hackers (in terms of the general criminal hacking) is just a scummy crime. Akin to shooting randomly in the street. Sure most of the time no one will get hurt, but sometimes people do. You are trying to target an Evil bank. Well those servers are in the same data center as a hospital. So you DDOS attack prevented timely movement of health information so your parents who were in the hospital may had to wait 5 minutes longer for that critical result that could had saved their life, if they got that data earlier.
Oh when that happens the data center will get a lot of heat for not being setup to deal with a DDOS attack. However that is like blaming your landlord for not giving proper locks on your door, after you got robbed. In short the robber is to blame.
Copyrights are not bad for users in the long run. Without a copyright on software... There can be a bunch of ripoff copies copied blindly where the software provider will have no way of supporting it.
GPL is a form of copyright. Where the maker expresses their will for the code to be shared and altered. Without copyright on software that would allow people to misuse GPL code, without any form of recourse.
Also giving the creator control of their creation will allow them to create more. Otherwise you can invest millions of dollars in development for someone to rip off and give away for free.
If you were to break out of the computer simulation... Why would our simulated currency mean anything? If we were in the real universe and we had a billion dollars that would be like paying with monopoly money.
Secondly if the universe is a simulation. We are part of the simulation. So if we get out of it, we wouldn't exist. At best we may be able to transfer ourselves into an alternate simulation. Then in that simulation chances are we cannot use our Universe A money there.
Usually it is brutality causing a feedback of intensity. The police man stops a guy, he is tense, that makes the policeman tense, which makes the guy defensive, which make the policeman to be more aggressive, that makes the guy feeling like he will need to fight to protect himself, which causes the policeman to fight back... With this feedback loop someone will cross the line first.
Having the camera, makes the guy less defensive, as he knows if something does happen to him there will be evidence, and the same with the policeman. Which desculates the feedback loop, as it puts a gap in the emotional response, knowing whoever crosses the line first will be the one who loses.
Computers at the time used many analog parts. The Cello sound is because of the burst of power to create the note causing an attack sound. Similarly how the string is pulled a bit further by the bow until its tension outstrips the friction from the bow and starts to vibrate. combined with the sawtooth wave which is similar to a string instrument or a brass horn.
We rely on infrastructure for survival for thousands of years. Otherwise we would be dead as we all can't have an Acre or two of quality land where we have our food, water, heat and shelter to make us self sufficient.
Roads - Allow us to move goods to places where they are needed, from areas where there is excess. Water/Sewer and Aqueducts move clean water to where we need it and moves dirty water away.
now today We need power - as a way to prevent us from all burning wood for heat and fuel, We also need the internet as our primary means of communication.
Without such technology we would die, not because we would be unprepared but because with population growth there are no ethical alternatives.
Don't blame the craftsman for the boss giving bad directives.
How many times have we as developers try to find a shortcut so you can have the demo ready for next weeks meeting. You can't say that you spent two week to mirror the data validation checks in the business layer that you implemented in the user layer. Or that you spent reworking the core of the system to do the same thing as before however it will catch and handle unexpected things.
We as developers can stand up and say it needs to be better but that will often mean next month you will training your Indian replacement.
Also if we go on our own if we try to make it right our competition will best us by the time we got it done.
Oh of those of so little math skills. Muslim or not. In space you can find Mecca with knowing the current time. Your current speed and direction related to earth.
These spacecrafts need this type of calculation to send messages back to earth. While not targeting Mecca they may be targeting Hustan Texas. Which is the same thing.
In that "wall" of text. Perhaps you should learn some patients to read a paragraph. It stated that USB-C offers a smaller form factor and better power consumption.
All this nonsence about DRM. 1. The analog hack is always the last ditch effort. The problem with analogue is it can't be copied exactly. Those who copy the data from an analog stream will have a lower quality copy.
2. If there is a device meant for human consumption there is a point where the data is decrypted so can be sent to the human interface output. Right before you get to the DA converter normally. Or the video output to the display. Heck in most systems the data will de decrypted in the memory buffer.
Switching from an analog jack to digital isn't going to help drm much. It will provide a common multi-use port. Which in general is a good thing.
I know for the hacker in me I preferred the 25pin parallel interface. Where you can write simple programs to it and just wire up some electronics and you can do some cool stuff.
This is tiresome. I get this nonsense whenever a major brand decides to ditch a technology. Normally Apple has been the first, however other follow suite after people realize it isn't that big of a deal.
1. Apple is giving with their phone a converter. 2. Most of the time when people get a second hand device they will get wireless.
I am not trying to sound like an apple apologist but really is the headphone jack that big of a deal?
Or are you angry that the iPhone doesn't have a 25 pin Parallel port so you can connect your old Dot Matrix Printer?

Many Christians are.
There is just a loud subset who are just regressive.
