You mean blocking a website for censorship reasons, from a country where people who happen to speak against the government happen to die from unusual circumstances. Like radioactive tea.
If you are in a swing state, You can still vote third party, if you feel that you could live with the guy you didn't want to be in charge for that term, while that demographics data means a stronger run the next election cycle. As in a swing state each of the two parties, really doesn't want people causing them to lose votes. So they will pay attention to the change more carefully.
However if you feel that a particular candidate really shouldn't win then vote for the other major contender.
I wouldn't ignore the media, but people need to get Media Smart.
For example the media love to hit on Hillary's email and her lack of personal openness. And they also want to hit Trump when ever he says something or do something remotely racist, or says something the republican party doesn't like.
These distract us from the issues that the media covers as well. However these issues are covered in a 5 minute segment with 25 minutes of repeating the old stuff.
Normally I see the politicians trying to accomplish what they say they want. However they are strong forces trying to do the opposite as well. So they will need to figure out what can they let slide so they can get what they feel strongly about to work.
The biggest lie is that they say "I Will" vs the truth is "I'll Try"
As Pornhub is also used for non-porn videos because no one else is willing to show them. So those dangerous subversive ideas would be blocked.
Bigger companies like YouTube the government and negotiate with and get whatever they feel like blocked. But having a high ranking minister talking to the CEO of a Porn company will not be good politically.
That isn't in Econ 101. Did you even take Economics? Econ 101 spends most of its time explaining supply and demand.
Econ 201 usually talks about how taxing a company too much or disproportionately can have negative effects as if it prevents company growth then over all the amount of money collected will be much lower as with lower employees and lower employee salary will lower the currency that is in movement.
The real problem is the rich has resources to take advantage of all the loopholes in the tax system which was intentionally made to help the poor. However the poor do not have the resources to leverage such advantages. While the Rich looks poor to the government and rich to the share holders. Because they are good at keeping the money moving. While the money not being used productively.
Yea most people who are anti religion or really anti anything really doesn't understand the thing they are so against. They base their hate off of some small group nuts who miss the point of the religion trying to teach. Based off the childhood understanding of the religion. Or just from media or news which likes to find bad examples and show it off.
Don't get me wrong religions have their problems and they have a tendency of turning a blind eye to them. But they are also do a lot of good and try to do good. And their beliefs are often more complex and goes past the book of Genesis.
It depends on what you consider welfare. In terms of emergency help and aid religions may be overall more effective than government. Because there is less bickering and more action. However for long term welfare the government has resources larger than any one religion.
I think this is a very particular case, not a sliding scale. As she is now 18 she has a professional reputation that she need to maintain as well an online presence. Kids pictures from the parent without the adult childs consent is rather hindering.
The Boomer approach when they were 18 would join a commune smoke a bunch of stuff and 40 years later find ways for everyone to pay their medical bills. Generation X approach would just leave the house and live off of internet stock.
Well the fact that she is now 18 legally she is an adult. While people mature at different rates, and many 18 year olds still have a lot of maturity problems. However the parents who should have more empathy should had listened to their child's concerns and take them down, and not use such a thing as some sort of power play. For this particular case seems out of hand.
Well if a good portion of the population votes for the actual person they feel will win, instead of wallowing in their own self delusion that the it is too corrupt for them to do anything.
If you want to do something. 1. Do your research on who is running and what they stand for. 2. Pick the person who you like independant on if you think they will win or not, or if you think your vote will detract from your most likely candidate. 3. Go to the polls and vote.
Here is the cool thing about the power of voting third party. The two major parties are not stupid, they track trends and voter demographics like any big data company. While they may not necessary know who at every household has voted for they can get a feel of the political temperature within a few miles of the polling place. So while most polling places will most of the vote for the major party, your third party vote is useful unaveraged bit of information. There is this one guy who voted for third party out of a hundred who voted for the establishment. Now that data is useful. So if they voted Green Party, then that may tell the Democrats that your area may have some additional concern about environmentalism, if they voted libertarian then the person may be concerned about their personal liberty. Now if there are enough 3rd party votes say 1% overall trending in a direction, that will tell the parties that they will need to incorporate aspects of that third party into their base policy as to adapt to the electorates wants.
While your vote may not win the election. It can change the direction of the next one.
Take a look at the Tea Party. Like them or despise them, they were able to get national recognition and many of its aspects became core of the republican party. Because that group voted in local elections, than for their representatives and senators creating a large party growth. Sure they were backed by some big names that sneaked their agenda in it. However the people voted them in. While those liberals complaining on how bad those guys were stayed home during the off year election and allowed them to get in power.
That switch to turn off your microphone and video camera. Should not just send a digital bit to the OS to decide what to do with it. It should physically cut circuit that provides the device power. Also the same with the LED on camera to show that it is recording this shouldn't be a feature that is programmed in the software it should be hard in the device.
The only real trade off with a mechanical switch is that it will take up more space. So your device will be a bit bulkier and heavier... However my point of view is how much security do you want to compromise for form factor.
Well making a Metro UI App in.NET isn't just 1 for 1 compatible with their older apps.
That is why.NET sucked. It has failed in the purpose of its design of bytecode compiling. It isn't portable, it isn't portable across 32bit and 64 system, it isn't portable across different screen resolutions, and processors.
I tried doing some metro design a while back... And it limited way too much stuff.
What will stop the courts from making the same mistake?
The way most laws work, they are not enforced, unless they want to convict someone for a crime. So person X was accused for Crime Y where they couldn't find the evidence for that, but they did find some small scale pirating or copyright infringement, and boom 10 year sentence, and the lawers on his side may not been fully prepared to fight a piracy charge.
Presidential pardons happen near the end of their terms all the time, and often the people who get pardoned, are not necessarily good for their legacy... However they are usually people who get put in jail for political choices.
Snowden seems like a decent choice for a pardon. For doing the right thing the wrong way...
However for Snowden to make a "moral" case for the president isn't a really a strong argument. For many types of crimes people do the wrong thing for good reasons, and in their mind, they don't deserve to be punished... Most people are not the TV/Movie villain who wakes up and figures out what evil they will do that day. But do evil acts based on either an emotional spurr of the moment reaction, or a sense of justification for what they did or will do to you.
That is why we have our justice system. It suppose to help parse out the details and help determine if what they did was justified or not.
Bet against a technology, give it a little lip service. While Lobby to make sure these things never make it on the road. Thus having your competors waste money, while you have the next generation of car without that expensive to make feature. Perhaps a truck with a larger Grill in front.
Well this is a stop gap measure until you can get a replacement. So lowering the battery charging limit is far more ethical than having them explode on you.
And if that lack of power is annoying... you should go and get the replacement.
Well unless you just keep cash all the time. Vulnerable to Fire and basic theft. Your money is accessible via the internet, whether you like it or not. Those ATM are connected to the Internet. You local bank chain is connected to the internet. The tools like Apple Pay and Android Pay, use your existing credit card, and send a unique number each time much more secure than a chip or magnetic swipe. Yep it going over the internet like the rest of your money.
I need to agree. I much rather use my phone to Pay. I do where I can... However a lot of places that have the features have them turned off. Heck a lot of the POS terminals have the chip reader disabled. Then you have all these places who are trying to get a personal App for their store. Which is rather stupid except for the ones that you go to all the time. However the questions asked to sign up for those services apps are extremely scary. Apple Pay and Android Pay use existing technology, as well offer a secure payment method better than any other one.
But I have came across people who scold me for using my Phone to Pay, the call me things like a Hipster. And point to their displeasure of using a different way to pay for stuff. While they take out their swipe credit card. Take just as long and risk their info getting hacked into much easier.

According to HTML5 Test we see the following...
Edge 14 460
Chrome 52 492
FireFox 48 461
Safari 9.1 370
I guess Edge is getting there. It is on Par with FireFox and beats safari... However chrome has a strong lead.
Probably getting kicked out anyway... If you win then you get money for your new life.

Being that Version is going to the Last Mile to internet connect all these devices. They might as well offer free Wi-Fi on those as a "Value Add"
