    I like LibreOffice, It is my default tool. But the reason why I like it is because it installs on my PC, so I can use it without internet. If I want a cloud office tools I would go with office. And not deal with compatibility issues.

    My greatest fear is a government that does work.
    An effective government is very dangerous, to its citizens. A bickering set talking heads makes sure that the fad idea of the week doesn't just get passed in the next session then we have to live with its consequences.

    The Dems seem to have less of a conflict. They think the government can do anything if they feel like it. Still a problem, but not as hypocritical.

    The republicans seems to state that the Government is a bunch of bumbling idiots where the free market can outperform it hands down, yet they also expect it able to perform things such as conspiracies where thousands of people are involved. Making a back door that only the government can break. Creating a super virus so advanced that no mortal individual outside the government can't possibly make.

    In short any government back door is a back door to the rest of the world. It isn't as much about the government spying on us, but who else, can. What if Snowden decided not to go public with the stuff he learned and decided to use it to profit off of the information? It takes one underpaid/underappreciated rouge employee to mess up any grand security system.

    Where is the evidence that he was trying to make dangerous products?
    The common wisdom of the time, was the atmosphere was large enough and the biosphere diverse enough to clear up any toxins, and what men can do would only be a small effect.
    This idea was wrong, but it took a lot of science to show this effect.

    But if you want to vilify people for being part of their time... How much carbon are we polluting as part of these trivial posts?

    Social Media is about Public Information. If you choose to post political beliefs then people will know your political beliefs, and not all of them will agree with you. If you are posting that you are doing illegal activities then chances are the officials will be finding that. Using FaceBook or Twitter is fine if you post stuff that you want everyone to know about you.

    I tend to limit to pictures of my Pets, and the weather.

    Part of wholesome family fun. Just because there is a new toy that is out, that happens to have the name of a controversial military device it becomes a major threat.

    In short if the science is in conflict with your political belief, you will find a reason to distrust it, and point out the science is part of some conspiracy.

    GMO Foods, Study after study shows no negative effect on people. However the liberal activists still fear of its danger because of the conspiracy of the Agro business is hiding the real science. It is to a point where anything GMO even if it is just extra nutrients to help feed the poor is still outcasted and millions of people starve, because it is scary science.

    Conservatives: Will not believe in a science that is shown to be dangerous.
    Liberals: Will not believe in a science that is shown to be good.

    There are many schools of thought on this seemingly simple question.

    1. Start from the beginning: Doctor 1 This will show his growth and change of character over time... However these episodes weren't made for binge watching, You watch an episode and watch the next on a day later, otherwise you get board to tears.

    2. Start with Doctor 4: He was the doctor for the longest time and really defined what is the Doctor

    3. Start with Doctor 3: That is where it switched to color as well Doctor 3 was more action oriented than the previous two. Also with more earthly contacts to get more concrete view on what is going on

    4. Start with Doctor 9: This is the season reboot a new story plot, with updated effects and acting sensibilities.

    I actually went with 4 myself, this was so I can get involved in the universe without feeling like I missed too much. Then I went back to 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 then 1 and 2

    8th doctor was in a made for tv movie, so watch it when you get the chance, but it is outside of the rest.

    The guys who are either really good or really bad.

    While I expect porn may be the most popular category in terms of number of people. It's viewership per individual is for a short burst during a period of time.

    Once they are done people will go to more "wholesome" activities. While we are sexual animals, we are more than purely sex all the time. After the cravings have been relieved other higher human functions kick in.

    Just as we are not constantly eating or thinking about eating.

    PHP - Newer Language for making Web Apps Used widely by a lot of Jr. Programmers of the 2000's
    Java - - Old Lanague for making Web Apps Used widely by a lot of Jr. Programmers of the 1990's .NET - Newer Language for making Web Apps Used widely by a lot of Jr. Programmers of the 2000's

    C++ - Lower Level language often used for teaching people how to code... A lot of room to create security issues.
    iOS - OS not a language
    Android - OS not a language
    JavaScript - Newer Language for making Web Apps Used widely by a lot of Jr. Programmers of the 2000's

    The US has FDIC which works simularly where in case of robbery or bank closing up to 100k USD will be covered.
    Now most people I know including multi-millionaires don't keep over 100k in the bank. The bank is only good for holding money for high liquidity.

    But for most people having multiple accounts will not make their money any safer as it will just be insured.

    However on the government/insurers point of view having multiple bank accounts means less of a payout on the odd bank collapse.

    The reverse side is that not for profit organization have too many limitations on them.
    Such as the ability to lobby. Strict rules on what to do with any money collected and what not to do.
    LLC may be an easier way to get things done.
    Heck most liberal conspiracy theories center around how corporations are the ones pulling the strings. If that is the case it would make sense that if you want to perform altruistic acts and have the power to get them to work a corporation isn't a bad idea.

  17. There is a huge ethical debate on curing ageing.
    1. We are already over populated: not having us die from old age, will mean many of us will die from starvation, and violence.
    2. What impact does that have on your brain? If I live my life with a 21 biological year body and cells. Does my brain evolve and do I mentally mature? If so will I end up being a closed minded old kook who will hinder any changes in the world. If not how will I expect to grow in such a world,
    3. Normally we save up money until retirement and spend what we have left for our expected life. If that isn't the case we could be on a continual saving trend. Thus hoarding money in savings and not spreading and keeping economic activities active.
    4. The younger generation cannot move up in organizations very easily as the ageless will be keeping such jobs.
    5. Riskier/unhealthy behavior. If your body is biologically young and resistant. You can tolerate unhealthy behavior until a point where it hits a breaking point. No slow decline to make a point you may need to change.

    Table Inheritance is purely awesome.
    A good structure is having a commonality across all tables.
    My personal set that I like are the following
    UID,
    CreateDateTime,
    ModifiedDateTime,
    Enabled,
    Archive,
    ArchiveFromUID

    Without it such feature, it is too easy to get into a habit of adding non-standard naming conventions, and actions. Especially if it was originally suppose to be a quick lookup table which happened over time become the core table for the data entry in the system.

    You can do both.
    I keep 2 dozen languages on my resume. I know many more, but why bother going into lesser known/used languages such as FoxPro or Lisp or put on langauges that make me look dated such as Cobol or Fortran.

    Not really.
    High Level languages can do very complex set of things with a simple command.
    Lets say Language X has a command.
    HTTPSServer(port, cert, onGetMethod, onPutMethod, onPostMethod, onDeleteMethod, onOptionsMethod, out Status)
    One command that does the work of a full application. Where there could be thousands of lines of code in a lower level language that will need to be looked art, and possible changed if ported to a different envrionment.

    From my experience with Desktop based drives. HDD seem to be more fragile, So they will have errors and crash after any little detail. Sure you may be able to recover your data and replace the drive, but once it starts going downhill it goes downhill fast and most of the time, it is isn't worth it to try to get the data out of it.
    SSD having no moving parts tend to run a bit better over a longer period of time. But when they go they are gone.

    Either way, if your data is that important you should have a backup.

    Nah I bet it is a simple algorithm.
    In order to determine if they are a minor or not, they determine if they are viewing porn or not. If they are viewing porn then they must not be a minor thus open to tracking data.

    Easy algorithm.
    Because kids are only exposed or search for it after they reach 18 years of age.

    Outlook is used by big organizations that don't seem to know any better, there is little to no chance of them moving to Mozilla.

    However most others will use web based tools such as GMAIL just because they are just as handy as any application. With the fact that it won't fill you hard disk up.

    You analogy is poor. Shoes are not meant for addons and plugins. Unless someone say causes a shoe failure because of a faulty third partly shoelace.

    With cheap fake shoes with Nike logo, Nike and law enforcement can go after the rip off. As for the 3rd party apple add on. Well they just happened to make a device that fits in the wall, and fits in an iPhone. The fact you put them together is your own fault.
