    We already have these amazing devices! We often refer to them as plants! They go by many different names, but the most iconic is called a tree!

  8. There are these things that poor people, and even some of the better off people, have called alarm clocks. They are not very popular among the wealthy and those who want everyone else to perceive them as wealthy, but they have been around for a very long time. You can even buy one for less than $20, which is why those who want to be perceived as wealthy refuse to own one.

    Collections agencies have no power. They will act like they do, but they are lying.

  10. You have apparently not had too much interaction with white, upper middle class, millennial, girls.
    They truly believe that the world owes them everything, and that they have the right to retaliate against anyone who doesn't give them what they want.
    They also believe that the law does not apply to them, and they are nearly correct, since it is almost unheard of for one of them to get any actual punishment from the courts, regardless of their crimes.

    Odd, duckduckgo has worked quite well for me, especially with tech related searches. Images and video it sucks for though.

    The overall message should be that prohibition of low harm behaviors often leads to much greater harm behaviors, but authoritarian types can never seem to come to terms with that.

    You missed a distinctly likely scenario. The greater harm behaviors are the intent of the laws.

    Oh, we know what that word means, but it hasn't been seen in practice since the downfall of the Native Americans. As far as I know it has not existed outside of that group for many thousands of years.
