Honestly I am shocked this didn't stop them. In this case it certainly seems that they are running afoul of the law. Personally I am in favor of these devices though I do think sane regulation is a good idea. But protecting the awful taxi lobby that exists in so many locations isn't a worthwhile endeavor.
There are such laws in some states but not in others. You can't lock someone up for breaking a leg that doesn't exist. But maybe every state should have these laws.
Seems to me it is the gun owner who should be responsible for securing their weapon and making sure it is only being used by responsible adults. It is not the parents job to make sure the kid can't get at some hidden gun they don't know about.
Of course the reality is that in most cases the parent and the gun owner are actually the same person.
The summary is bs as usual. The story says apps are going from 1.29 to 1.49 which in US dollars comes to.79 and 1.09. 10% more than the us, not 50%. I'm guessing they anticipate a further slide in the near future.
I guess the rest of the people acting like bullying behavior is acceptable were bullies from the start then. I'm not sure which is worse.
Well adjusted people find bullying behavior unacceptable regardless of their social graces now or in the past. Many of us grew past it or rejected it at an early age but there are some for whom it is a lifestyle. Empowered by the protection of the keyboard (greater internet fuckwad theory). It is a behavior we as a society will have to deal with eventually. Maybe the kids who grew up online will do better but sadly I doubt it.
That's what the lovely built in computer that porche provides is for. The dashboard can show you many of these things. Porche will provide more info than almost any of its customers would care for. The rest will prefer using their custom tools to read more detailed raw data. Android is there to do gps and handle in car entertainment and communication. Nothing else
It's amazing how quickly some nerds become bullies when the bigger cooler kids are not present. It's a shame they don't remember what it was like to be treated like this.
Look torvolds is a smart guy. He accomplished something impressive. That's great. It does not mean he is a good person or a good leader. He can be a total asshole. That doesn't make him a bad developer but it sure as hell would make him someone that most sane people would choose not to work with.
Amazon already makes a streaming video app for iOS so it doesn't seem to be an issue for them. This app does not support chrome cast (neither does the android app).
What rights exactly. At least in a "right to work" state you don't have a lot of recourse unless you are being discriminated against. If an entire department is being laid off it would be hard to show that you were laid off for anything but legitimate reasons. Under what circumstances is a worker really going to end up better off turning down the money (plus the ability to collect unemployment right away, at least here in Mass).
I coukd see delaying signing to consult a lawyer maybe but I suspect in most cases they will tell you to take the money and run. its better than nothing.
Google makes a ton of money on the data they acquire from those apps. iOS users represent heavy consumers. Google needs access to those users and their data more than apple needs Google. That's why Google pays Apple to make sure Google remains the default search option in iOS.
Thing is. Apple doesn't care. This service can loose money and as long as it makes the iPhone more attractive to potential buyers it is worth it to them. Same with the new news app. I'm honestly shocked they didn't make the streaming service cheaper.

Your comment on metal is total bs. Regular apps benefit because the underlying libraries (cores rapids and core animation) have been re written to use metal for better performance. Want to use it for your graphics or rendering engine? Then you will need to write code but your app will look just as native as always either way.
I don't think open carry is allowed in mass. All permits for handguns atleast are concealed carry as I understand it. So a man carrying a pistol shaped gun openly could be arrested.
That doesn't change the fact that this is incredibly stupid. A toy is a toy and a storm trooper outfit should be a dead give away. Even if the principal fucked this up the police should have had more sense
Why do you doubt that? This movie sounds like exactly what you described. It seems a lot like the road warrior with women instead of fuel. And I assume no "twist" ending but who knows on that count.

And honestly the train should handle the person on the tracks case all on its own.

You are welcome to fork it and get shit on by everyone who will tell you how you suck and you are wasting your time.

And somehow it's always the other guys fault?

You're not wrong Walter. You're just an asshole.
Even if you are right, 10 years is not a long time for so one learning to drive a rig right now.

Maybe they shouldn't have built a business on petulant children then.
Just an infinite tape then?

Unless he means actual rocks.
Yeah what would we do without the Google+ app.

You are right. The answer is in the words which is why you should try reading them more carefully
When you walk the mile south you reach the South Pole. How do you go "west". From the South Pole every direction is north.
