It is possible that something similar is happening with Autism, that somehow the recessive version is giving us some noteworthy advantage in the modern age, but the idea that Autism itself is the advantage is a little crazy, even if you accept the premise that they might be more successful in an electronically connected world that world has not existed long enough for that pressure to be exerted. It would have to be providing an advantage for a significantly longer period of time.
Your hypothesis is much more believable but at least at this point, not really provable.
I never claimed that this was statistical evidence that there was a problem but he is using "statistics" to try to show that there can't be.
If there were as many teslas on the road as prius' and there was only one report of a problem with a tesla that actually WOULD be evidence that the car is fine and the driver is a moron, as the original poster is suggesting. I am pointing out that the samples do not support such a conclusion.
Before posting crap like this for the love of god at least consider the difference in number between the most popular car on the road and a super expensive specialty vehicle that very few people own. Somehow I am not surprised that with only 25,000 cars on the road there are less reports of problems with the tesla than there are with the 3.2 million prius' sold world wide.
Obviously its just a conspiracy and also there is clearly no way that anyone at tesla could ever make a poor design decision.
City tax (the NYC income tax, or the Philly income tax) is a whole different animal and creates the worst tax headaches when you are a commuter or only work in the city part time.
Yeah because paying out the benefits that these generations worked for... the benefits that they paid for with their taxes during their earning years... yeah, they just aren't carrying their own weight. Lazy fuckers
It depends on the credit union you use. Some are better than others for certain tasks. I have USAA for instance which is awesome when traveling. Use any ATM and they pay back the fees that the ATM charges you (up to a reasonable monthly limit) and because they are set up to support the military world wide they have a lot of awesome services like overnighting you cashiers checks that you order online. I also have another credit union that is local to Philadelphia (I dont live in philly anymore) I have kept the account open but its not really all that useful by comparison. There is also DCU which has a lot of good loan products so its worth at least looking around. That said having a local bank can be pretty useful as well.
Well they clearly fucked up when they categorized internet providers which resulted in the ruling. I have yet to see an explination of their categorization that doesn't leave the FCC looking incompetent or corrupt. This court ruling seemed pretty inevitable and its not clear that there was a valid reason for them to not make them common carriers in the first place.
So there is some argument, but if the FCC responds soon enough (by re-categorizing internet providers) I think you have to give them the benefit of the doubt... if they don't well that further makes them look incompetent or corrupt.
And you have to be good enough to answer the tricky word play questions out of order, which can bite you in the ass if you have an opponent who excels at them.
To be fair there is something to be said for top to bottom in some categories. May of them are tricky and have a particular pattern to them and usually the top one makes the pattern pretty clear. Sometimes when you jump right in to the middle you end up with a question that you don't understand or that you might have been able to answer if you understood the format better.
The regulations have always been there. That this school has slipped under the radar for a little while doesn't mean that it is not something that is meant to be regulated.
And we have regulations on paid educational services to make sure those are legitimate as well and what do you know, people actually want to enforce those regulations.... what a country!
Work on your reading comprehension. You made the same mistake as the guy above you.
You are driving on all weather tires. They are driving tires that are made only for wet and dry conditions with no consideration for snow and ice. You don't buy those in your part of the country because you have regular snow and ice. The only people in colorado who would buy summer tires are the ones who will put snow specific tires on in the winter (usually on sporty cars to get the best summer ride and not be fucked in the winter). While your all weather tires are not as good as snow tires in the snow they are still miles better than the summer tires that people in Georgia buy.
Well for one thing, they are cheeper than all weather tires of a similar quality. Also they provide better wet and dry traction at the cost of snow traction. Some people around here in New England use them in the winter and snow tires in the summer, particuarly on light cars that don't get particularly good snow traction.
The point is, in Atlanta, nobody bothers with all weather tires. They can get similar performance for less money and all it costs them is traction once every 3 years. This is also why Atlanta should have been shut down because neither the state, city nor citizens had the equipment on hand to deal with the road conditions.
yeah I'm sure you have driven without snow tires, but you probably were using some decent all weather tires. You know those things that people in Atlanta would never, ever bother putting on their cars for the one day every 3 years that it snows. I am guessing you weren't using summer tires for all your driving because summer tires in the snow and ice are just this side of useless.
One of the larger issues is that the vehicles in Atlanta are not equipped for snow. People don't even have all weather tires down there, why would they. Snow tires and chains are unheard of. So not only are they unfamiliar with how to drive, they lack the most basic equipment to do so. That makes a small amount of snow a big problem.
really, because I find googles apps on iOS to be among the worst. Its even hard to say that the G+ app is better than the abomination that is the facebook app.
You could also write it off as a market for innovative goods developed elsewhere.

Tthey could be barred from operating in this country. That isn't much but it is something.
Wait, you get specification requirement?
I need a new job.

You mean moving them to a position consistent with other cars on the road would somehow make this car less safe than those other cars?
Hill starts? Its not a manual you know.

They didn't get rich by writing checks.

Isn't that basically how Watson went about it as well?
wages rising is exactly what corporations would like to avoid. Far better for them to get someone else to foot the bill and keep labor cheep
