You have never met someone who obsessively over plans and can't start until every decision is made? Admittedly such folks are probably better of with pharmaceutical drugs for anxiety or OCD but plenty of people self medicate with alcohol.
But isn't it quite possible that the very nature of the electoral college ends up causing close popular races when candidates each write off several states as lost and spend no time campaigning or advertising there? Would more of some of the states that are a given to go for either candidate be split differently if the candidates were campaigning for the popular vote, rather than electoral votes?
I'm not saying it would go to Obama, I'm just saying that I don't think you can draw strong conclusions from the data.
I did this with a local startup. I gave them a discounted rate hourly on a small (40-60) hour project they needed done in the hope that they might offer me full time employment when they could. Ultimately they did because they saw that my work was good and I was responsive to their needs and creative enough to suggest solutions to design problems. It worked out pretty well for me.
The reason you want a physical linkage between the wheel and the road is so that, as a driver, you can actually feel the proper feedback from the road.
I used to get delivery groceries in the US, almost a decade ago, just from the local grocery store. It was very convenient with a bunch of roommates. Generally speaking I got excellent produce delivered. They weren't sticking we with the wilted lettuce or bruised fruit. I suppose they knew that if they gave people crappy produce they would stop using their service.
I know mostly we don't like attributed facts on this site but maybe a link to the FTC would be in order since they, you know, actually enforce this stuff.
It looks to me like this might not qualify for an unqualified made in the USA label especially if a considerable amount of the electronics assembly is done in another country.
Actually all the ruling does is say that congress can levy a tax penalty for a behavior in the same way that they can levy a tax break for a behavior.
Functionally the two are more or less equal. If they raised everyone's tax by 2 grand a year and gave everyone with insurance a tax break it would be the same effect.
But what about the invisible hand of the market. Won't someone step in and offer lower cost insurance and undercut the greedy companies? Or will we just wait for it to get so expensive that people start to want single payer?
unemployment is on a state by state basis in the US. Here in Mass the max is something like $525 but recently there has been some additional (federal I believe) money bringing you up to about $650 a week. Of course in your state the max might be lower, especially if the minimum cost of living is lower.
Yea, they might make the end of the year, but the fact that they won't commit to that makes me wonder. Microsoft has a history long delivery time.
More to the point though, 6 months out or 9 months out, they only announced the tablet to try to seal googles thunder and to try to slow the iPads inroads into enterprises.
Of course the tablet probably won't actually ship till next year, but by making an announcement now maybe they can stall buyers from investing in another platform and instead waiting around to see what microsoft eventually puts on the market.
you know, if you had spent 25 bucks a week more on food (probably more than you would need to) you would have accrued 5K or so more debt over 4 years. While that seems like a lot, the benefits, both physically and mentally, of not being malnourished while you were in school probably would have been worth the expense you would have incurred in the first year or 2 of work.
these days it would be on youtube in seconds.

By the effect of a huge amount of matter on the light around it.
Distingishing it from a black hole is an exercise for better physicists than I.
Your ideas intrigue me and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

LSD might be fun, plane full of dosed travelers!
The apps you download with the false UUID wouldn't even work for you aincetheywould be signed for the wrong device.

Yea, and you have to discount number 420 because he is high all the time.
They could put it in a place that takes up less valuable screen real estate if it's used far less often.
Quite a bit like the OSX dock actually.

Thats a shame, more work for me here in Boston. Its been nice having major employers contacting me before I even begin a job search.
Sometimes people need reality more than comfort.
Never mind that you sure as hell aren't ever going to find much comfort and compassion on here.

In other words, business as usual.
or more importantly your fingers. There is a practical minimum physical size for controls on a touch screen.
You know not all schools cost the same amount right?
You don't have to go to the most expensive school you can get into.

5K of debt shouldn't stick around for very long
It also had a small size coupled with a large storage capacity, you could carry all your music in a pocket rather than in a backpack.
Without those small drives I don't think the iPod could have been successful even with its superior interface.
