Life creates the very abstractions you are thinking about. You create them, when you think them. Abstractions don't create you, and abstractions don't create life.
Sorry to break it too you but your a machine and your brain is a computer. Your thinking too abstractly. A computer is just the result of interactions between protons, neutrons, electrons, etc. Just like your brain, and everything else in the universe. You believe in god dont you?
Even assuming the cost of damages from malware exceeds the money spent on anti-malware doesnt mean the damages are ending up in someones pocket. If a company is crippled for days it may cost them millions but the person responsible for the damages doesnt necessarily get anything. Just as with spam. If you send out 100 million spam emails and make $10,000 the loss in productivity likely exceeds $10,000.
Even if 25% of the installed dvd players supported this it wouldnt be enough for many companies to release products using the format. I would however love to see a royalty free format. Every time I buy a dvd player, dvd software, or even a movie im paying a royalty. Enough is enough. They should focus on a next generation format. With their large percentage of the manufacturing base, they could have a lot influence. I cant believe im on China's side for once.
I'm currently getting a Fluke 43b meter to be the primary testing equipment and will be wiring the entire lab to every possible variation of AC and DC voltage.
A knowlegeable person in the field would likely not have said this. This sentance implies to me that you're not old enough and mature enough to work with dangerous voltage & currents. Knowlege in electronics is a noble persuit. Be aware that it can be lethal.
Yes everyone knows the pros use the Fluke 211g. Makes the 43b look like a toaster.
I dont think its that obvious. There are a lot of people out there that pay for security software. Not to mention the large corporations that spend millions on it. Not even mentioning the tech support jobs created to combat spam and hackers.
Germany has a complex over the whole Third Reich thing
Raiding your neighbors for what you've done sounds like the Third Reich. Nevermind getting raided by sub-machine gun totting gestapo for making video games involving gun violence.
If the terrorists get a hold of this information they could buy stock in the most reliable cell company and make millions. Then they'd have plenty of money for their nefarious deeds, duh.

I know there was a case a few years ago where an "arsonist" in TX was executed for having killed his family, and within less than a year it was established that he was innocent.
What? An innocent man was executed in Texas? I highly doubt that.
Of course, there are some pics that I wouldn't mind a little more investigation on. I happen to be interested in something I call Gulliver's Golf Ball, something that looks like a perfect sphere, roughly 200 meters across.
My Grandfathers didn't fight in WWII so I could learn Japanese. They fought so they Japanese would learn English.
What good is a magazine i cant read? Am i suppose to just look at the pictures?

They even raided the nearby private residences

2 of us would sit in the passenger seat and one of us would sit/lay on the shelf behind the seats. Might not be legal, but we lived. -J
You're lucky you lived!

If VOIP is illegal, only criminals will have VOIP.

James Wright, director of electronic discovery at Halliburton Co.
Is Halliburton getting sued so often they need a director of electronic discovery? I wonder how many people work in that department.
Companies like to make these proprietary connectors so they can sell you overpriced chargers, cables, etc.
