Havn't you been reading? We can't, there isn't enough oxygen, we'd suffocate I hope I read the article correct in that there isn't as much oxygen being produced as originally thought, otherwise this pathetic joke will fail on several levels
I think most of those reasons are bull, but I believe gun control to be a major issue. Simply put, England has most of those problems. Yet we have gun control laws. As far as I know, there has been no shootings in English schools, ever.
I'm not trying to rub it in peoples faces or point a finger but having the ability to walk into a shop and buy 9mm pistols, things like this are going to happen.
I'm 18, I just turned 18 in March. I've spent most of my life playing violent video games. First games I've played were Doom and Command and Conquer. I've played Quake, Unreal Tournament and all sorts of games. My Dad used to play most of these games with me, and was quite encouraging. The only game I've ever been told I can't play was Postal, when I was about 9 years old.
And to reference what a previous poster wrote that "Males between 15-25 tend to be aggressive" I don't think it's just men. For example, my entire family play (Or have played) counter-strike! That's me, my three sisters (16-11), my Dad and my Mum.
I don't think violent video games are as big a taboo here in England, we certainly don't have any Jack Thompsons roaming around. I'm pretty sure with my history, if his beliefs were truth, I'd be a psychopathic killer.
What I remind best is, that once I gathered it was an SF, I thought how unbelievably stupid it was that the man entering was dressed exactly as a contemporary yuppie/businesman of today and he was wearing a *tie*. A tie, for gods' sake! Only a T-shirt with 'nike' on it could have been more ludicrous. They're living thousands of lightyears away, have superiour technology, have not had any contect with earth for thousands of years, and he's wearing a goddamn tie? And every other prop is exactly like what you get at walmart? I know what you're saying. Everyone in the future wears aluminium foil and silver jump suits. Duh.
iPod Accessories just keep getting more and more inventive. And I thought the iPod sock was inventive, but now a plane?

Downloading pirated items is not Stealing! It's breaching a copyright. It is not depriving any party of their property. On top of that, your analogy is slightly off. DRM is not a lock on a door, it's a lock on your OWN door to make sure you don't go out and do bad stuff.
This doesn't surprise me - potatoes are poisonous. They contain toxic compounds, like solanine.
Now, you don't really get potato poisoning very often, mainly because we don't eat enough potatoes.
However, these research rats could be eating a lot more than their body can take in toxins like Solanine, especially if the potato is green.
Even if the DNA is similar between humans and rats, the body mass certainly isn't.
I brought one of Samsungs Ultra Edition mobiles - the worlds slimmest slider, the D900. Very good functionality for such a small device - and it hasn't broken yet, really good product in my opinion...
Wolves are extinct in Britain now, but they were not extinct at the time of Stone Henge. In fact, wolves lived in England until they were finally fully exterminated in 1760. So for all you know, a wolf with a particularly bad case of flatulence might.. well, no, not really.
From my point of view, carrying a patientcard, with some kind of memory chip, that carries your journals seem to be the best solution in many of the questions that can be raised on this topic.
This is a good idea, and one that's easily implementable. British people who are visiting other EU countries are entitled to an E1/11 card that grants certain medical coverage in the countries you are in, paid for by the NHS. Such cards could easily be implemented with a RFID chip, or small memory card as suggested.
Finally I stand the chance of getting a girl.

Lifetime achievement award? I got one off of eBay.
Secrecy can't be compromised. Haven't you people even seen "The Unit"?!

Anyone got the .torrent to the software?
for.. training purposes. You know.
So this means we've gone onto the next stage of Spore, right?
Maybe because a GUN was used to kill the people, and not a sharpened counter-strike CD? Guns are more relevant than games in a mass-shooting.

I can see how this would work. If my desktop gets too dark and I can't see things properly, I adjust the gamma.
Even I winced at that one.

Anyone else find it funny that a criminal is being extradited from Australia? Didn't we send those Darn convicts there in the first place?
