  1. You just have PS2 envy on SquareSoft to Develop for Nintendo Again · · Score: 2
All I'm trying to say is that I'm playing these games RIGHT NOW, they exist in actual physical form, rather than only on some website preview.. And even if they make ZERO more games for PS2, I feel I've gotten my money's worth. What may or may not be released in the future is immaterial!

So you take your Xbox to bed with you and read those magazine previews to get you all hot & sweaty.. I'm too busy ACTUALLY PLAYING the games that YOU WISH YOU WERE.

I don't care what's coming out in the future for Xbox, it's immaterial because I'm playing those games NOW! If the best Xbox and Nintendo can do is to get the same games that the PS2 had a year ago, then I'll stick with the PS2, thank you very much.

I'll believe that nonsense about better graphics and more gameplay when the games aren't VAPOR!

The correct statistic from your cite is 6.1% of all American households lack telephone service in their home. Also, you can hardly compare these Americans, who likely are at least NEAR a phone due to neighbors, pay phones, etc., to the poor people who live in Chinese and African villages and may not be within MILES of a phone.

Because India has some seriously entrenched corruption problems. VoIP would hurt the phone company, and the phone company bosses wouldn't like that.

Here in the USA of course, we are MUCH more civilized and would NEVER, EVER let a corporations concern over profits dictate our laws and regulations.

This stuff about the GPL "infecting" your software as soon as it touches something GPL'd reeks of MS FUD. The GPL only affects distribution of software.. I'm fully free to create a closed source OS based on Linux if I wanted to, as long as I don't give or sell it to anyone else, which is when the GPL restrictions would kick in. At least, that's how I understand it. I've been known to be wrong in the past.. :)
