There's a lot more to getting accurate, relevant search results than gathering cache. The question is, how will MS stand up to Google, not the other way around.
Let these be actual CD quality songs, burned to actual CDs that are playable in any standards-compliant CD player, without DRM or artificial errors or any other insane copy-protection scheme...

Have you seen F 9/11? He does attack the Patriot Act a bit, he even gives out the number of the guy who proposed it (apparently, didn't try it myself).

He also champions a very Lessig-esque outlook in his reasoning. Quentin Tarantino's earlier support for such practices is also mentioned. Meanwhile, Lion's Gate says it has no plans to oppose the practice."
I use TDS Meterocom in Wisconsin and out of the blue a few months ago they blocked port 25. I also run Debian+exim and I found it VERY easy to use Exim's "smarthost" features to use tds' mail servers. So if comcast ever did block you, exim will hopefully be able to help (:
Not to mention the various shells, editors, scripting languages. Fragmentation is why people preceive UNIX as being difficult. Now, if all of geeks who hack it would get rid of their egos and put the best of breed into one utility instead of fighting over 50 or more different ones, then Microsoft would be out of business tomorrow.
I wouldn't call it egos. Personally I love the fact that there are such a large variety of shells, editors, and the like. It's certainly a lot nicer than being tied into some proprietary piece of software that you may decide you don't even like after paying $XXX for it. There is no "best of the breed" because everyone has his/her own opinions, not egos. That goes against the entire ethic of Open Source, it's all about choice, in my opinion. And I'd rather try to help people understand that than take them from one piece of proprietarily software to a single piece of Open Source software.
Microsoft, based in Redmond, Wash., will release a number of music players when it launches its online music service later this year, giving customers more choices than Apple, Mehdi said.
What exactly does that mean? The write-up here makes it sound as though MS will release one player that will give users more "choices" (which I would imagine to mean more codecs that will playback). But the article makes it sound like the "choices" will be between players.

Welcome to CrazyWorld folks!
I have found a few errors on their website (:

It actually doesn't support all versions of Safari. Anyone with Mac OS below 10.3 can only get up to Safari 1.0.2, which is not supported.
I applied the patch noted in the bug report, and am now free of the problem.
Also, how will I be to apply the patch and where is it? Do I have to recompile my kernel?
If you had read the article, you would know that they provide the patches right there for (I think) ever affected kernel.
A bigger deal would have been made of it, but it would have only taken about a minute of my time.
A minute of your time, a few weeks of Microsoft's time.

But making that point did help to get it modded down. I would prefer not to have someone's baseless opinion pass my comment threshold.
Just curious, have you seen the film?
I had the misfortune of watching Paycheck last night. Ugh. I can at least say that Windtalkers is somewhat decent, esp since Cage dies (:
You obviously don't watch Ren and Stimpy. The tooth fairy is one ugly little thing!
Haha is it? I was actually referring to the old Konami one on NES: Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start.
Another mind boggler...

I need more lower case letters so that this will actually post, hehe.
It looks like the groups beta still has a usenet listing. And I agree with you, those usenet archives have got me out of more than one jam (:
The New York Post reports that the price per track may be going up to $1.25...
Apple has already denied these claims. Don't talk as if the price is 1.25 right now.
Well then why should the FBI wait for the fertilizer? Why not just investigate people who rent Ryder trucks?
i also fall into that category. an excellent comment to end on (:
I went to the website and clicked the link for the Mac OS X software. The title on the download page reads:
Direct Connect for Mac OS X 1.1.0
Author:NeoModus
Program Type:Adware
Interesting...
