Actually I did read the article and nowhere does it explicitly say that the costly one would have no commercials, they just said they were going to charge in '08. You quote where it says the commercials will be removed when they charge.
Well, I read TFA, and I have to say, it's not such a great thing.
The service will allow customers to download full episodes of NBC shows for seven days on Windows-based PCs. The file will expire after the seven days. So it sounds like they are saying, this is Windows only. Lots of Mac and Linux users are going to be disappointed.
Commercials will be embedded in the programs and viewers will not be able to skip through them. ...
... consumers will pay NBC directly to download episodes of the shows. So wait, we have to pay to see un-skippable commercials? Forget that!
They aren't going to win over the people who are simply TiVo'ing their favorite shows, or (god forgive) the ones who downloading them elsewhere. NBC is asking a little too much here.
I was under the impression that these numbers meant much more than just possible driver support. Red Hat was doing an evaluation of Fedora, and for the increased funds, they needed these numbers.
or is the article a little harsh? Yes the particle accelerator is bigger, but in no way does that set the highest achievable accuracy for detecting particles. There are still many more technologies to come that will make the current standard obsolete. Maybe it's the next generation of accelerators that will be able to detect the W bosons. So how is this step in the technological chain going to make or break sting theory? The article didn't say why this accelerator would be able to detect the W bosons, only that it is "bigger".
A vast series of Rube Goldberg devices which are mostly comprised of AOL cd's. At the end of the device, it presses the speed dial on my phone and plays a prerecorded message. I really want to test it out! I can only dream of the day...
2007 is starting off great! With India starting to shut it's doors on Microsoft, maby (finally) Microsoft will outsource in a country that speaks clear English. Microsoft will soon rely on the American market only, and even that is starting to fade slightly.
I wonder how long it will take for some Linux people to figure it all out and get linux on it?
Personally I'd love to have WiFi and Skype in my car, although I certainly wouldn't pay an extra 10k extra for it. They have MP3 players that can do more than that for less!

Hard to believe that. People in USA are so blind and naive it's not even funny.

Finally no more complicated CUPS setups for my printer!
I was thinking of a salamander. My mistake.
Pretty sure that some geckos are amphibious. So in effect, their environment would clean their feet.
