Both sides do this and to miss the impact of the religious right is blind. Let's not forget book banning, which here in the US tends to be led by the right.

The G1 shows a lot of potential but T-mo has nearly zero 3G presence anywhere. 3g has been the next big thing for a long time and I have no clue why they have lagged so much. Another note is that while andriod seems pretty cool the G1 hardware is hardly eye catching or high quality. The next batch of Android powered phones will be better I have no doubt. I just wish Google would have held back till they had a really solid release line.

The truth is out there, there are thousands of websites which provide many different perspectives. The media can be evil, but we are foolish if we buy into everything we hear without a little fact checking. But hey since pointing out the obvious is burning my karma maybe I should just shut up.

When I went to college I looked at the best schools according to publications like US News. In the end I selected a school in Michigan that put me back about 40 grand a year. I hated the place. Sure the academics were good (though hardly amazing) but the attitude of the students and administrators was simply put, piss poor. It was a very unhappy place in a town with very little to do. Often these organizations that classify schools seem to forget the importance of happiness. Yes I know it is a factor they measure, but to me it the most important thing, if students are miserable as myself and many of my classmates were, the quality of the education is hardly relevant.

This is obvious, but it hardly makes the practice any less despicable. Games have become a commodity, they can't be "art" if they so are dead once the server dies. In 500 years our ancestors will have quite a job cut out for them figuring out how we ticked, based solely on the greed of some companies.
