Bad for you. It's very useful for quick calculations, translations, map searches, etc. I find it most useful to add tasks effortlessly to my Google Calendar.
I suggest you to try it, because it's quite handy.
How about Service Pack 3? Does it contain WGA? If so then those who want to avoid WGA can't install SP3 at all, because it's one big bundle and you can't select individual components from it to install.
And SP3 is offered as a recommended security update by MS for SP2 users.
Five minutes into the video and I'm still none the wiser as to how this is supposed to be an improvement in the use of my computer, or more comfortable, or easier.
In my opinion, it isn't.
Putting all my apps into a single line and navigating that line is not efficient. I'll stick to Autohotkey which allows me to jump to any of my usual apps with a single keypress.
I found eliminating the mouse as much as possible and finding convenient keyboard shortcuts is the key to efficient computer use. Using a touchpad which is just an other kind of mouse is not the solution. For computer newbies it may be, but not for seasoned users.
Let's not. See what offends me about this whole thing is that it's so obivious. If they'd just targeted America, it could have been anyone. But 'whoever' it was had to go and hit South Korea too, at the same time. Who hates both the US and South Korea?
Should have been 40 years, idiot. Just bringing the laptop to China is shear stupidity.
Not really relevant. The data can be copied from it just as easily in the US.
Even the " prohibited from sharing sensitive data with foreign nationals" condition is a fluff, since a foreign nation can simply pay a US citizen to get the data.
Personally I don't really approve of piracy because it hurts Open Source alternatives and wouldn't trust anything downloaded from PB to not have trojans on it these days.
They'd gladly blab about a kidnapping if it wasn't one of their own. It does, after all, sell newspapers.
True. There is lots of information in newspapers and Wikipedia in general which can get people in trouble. Why select one individual? Where do we draw the line on what should be supressed?
Maybe a committe should be set up to prescreen Wikipedia edits, so they don't harm anyone on the planet...
Just because he doesn't see a reason for Caps Lock out there in his little business world doesn't mean the key isn't highly useful to application developers. I'll point out SQL capitalization standards as just one example.

Well, if you have a proper editor you don't need to type those keywords in caps, because the editor does it for you automatically.
The original function of Caps Lock is nuisance. If you are on Windows you can set Caps Lock to do an actually useful thing which makes your life a whole lot easier:
I guess all of the forced bank account withdraws are proof online voting could never work!
ATMs have cameras installed on them. You don't propose we should install cameras into every home, so that we can be sure the voter is not coerced, do you?:P
What if ISPs will do the same thing?

It's very powerful once you get the concept.
Weird. Don't they make most of their money by performing dozens of times a year, anyway?
I'd rephrase it: Don't they make enough money anyway?
If someone is that rich does it really matter if not everyone buys his records? Isn't the free publicity worth more than earning even more money?
Emacs users can find the relevant package here with screenshots and demonstration Youtube video.
First of all China is robbing the West blind intellectually.
Well, in the past the West robbed China materially.
So it's not like a thief steals from an innocent, more like an aspiring thief stealing from an experienced one.
I watched the video in 1080p and the text was pretty much unreadable. One would need either a huge screen or have to live with constant panning.

This is a great thing. US has no fucking business to our banking data or any other thing.
Or at least if they want this data then obviously they must share all US banking data with us in the spirit of cooperation.
One sided data sharing is out of the question.

How can you over-hype a one-paragraph summary?

Cartoon-like blue CGI aliens and an apparently average summer blockbuster story. Maybe it's better in 3D, but in 2D it's laughable.
Probably only if you use a wave server operated by Google.
But this is acceptable, since they devote their own resources to run it. You can always run your own server if you don't like it.
Sentences as passwords are only applicable in environments that allow such things.
You can use a long sentence and use only the first letter of words and the punctuation. That's what I do.
Also track down the "Anonymous" group for hate speech against Scientologists, etc.
Well, how about tracking down scientologists for hate speech against "Anonymous" then?

It could be the Martians.
It's a total waste of money buying in
There are lots of narcistic people in the world and they may pay for all those fans who follow their precious self.

The secret service builds a datacenter and announces that in mainstream media?
It can be a ploy to divert public attention from other more important clandestine projects to this decoy.

Proper editors make it configurable, so it's up the user.
up to the user
Proper editors don't futz around with your capitalization.
