    Not only does TELUS allow tethering, they actively encourage it. When they updated my Motorola milestone to froyo they bundled a tethering app that was not previously there. Additionally they are selling wifi only tablets and bragging that you don't need a separate data plan, you can simply use tethering. (according to the website "Share one data plan between your smartphone and tablet at no extra cost. It's easy, affordable, worry-free and secure." (bold text in original)) Now as for the plans themselves... these need major work, the biggest plan you can buy from TELUS is 5gig. They simply don't sell a bigger plan than that. I find this rather abysmally low.

    Something has to give; you (or rather, every subscriber) can't have both.

    That will be the biggest obstacle; very (and varying) complicated chemistry and as far as I can tell it doesn't have any End of Life requirements placed upon it, even though the environmental impacts are already being seen. Perhaps it is time for Big Pharma to kick in a few sheckels to help out with the clean ups, especially for potable water intake - without us asking our doctors to be sure.

    Which - if we were all honest - would be written

    Parents who have enough free time to care

    You can wish your kids will excel regardless of the school's infrastructure, but if you are working at a low-wage, dead-end, full time job (and maybe even two of them) just to stay one step ahead of financial oblivion, all you will have time for is wishing. Wereas in the upper, uppper, upper middle class enclaves, there is plenty of time for parents to to take interest (and frequently an unhealthy one) in their snowflakes' education because of their wealth and the plentiful time it buys in the form of gardeners to maids and even tutors.
