I'm not dictating AT&T's development cycle and I'm not pretending to. I'm just comparing it to other programs that are in beta. Once again, you are avoiding my demand for you to back up your claim that I have no programming experience.
Performance tweaks are often one of the last things to be implemented in any project. Judging from the article and the very clear 3rd definition in Merriam-Webster's Dictionary, the browser needs far more than "performance tweaks".
It used to be that people could back up their statements with facts on request. I have asked you to back up your claim with facts but you haven't answered my question. Clearly, you have none. I'm sorry you caught Teh Stupid. That is most unfortunate. Have a good day and try not to hurt yourself.
Anyhow, it was a traumatic experience. "Where the eff is "Save as"? And how do I insert a slide? OK, how do I center-align this text? No, I don't want to insert Wordard or multimedia clips, thank you. Just a slide. And then save the file under a new name." Really? You're joking, right? Maybe I'm special or something because it took me all of 5 minutes to go through all the programs and figure it out.
No, since it just cost slightly less and have much less functionallity. Much less functional? You're comparing the iPhone and iPod Touch, right? The iPod Touch is practically an iPhone without the phone.
Clearly, you are talking out your ass. I'm sorry you don't hold your code to the same high standards to which I hold mine. You'll get better, hopefully.
a: XO's spokesperson has publically stated (see the PCWorld article) that it was probably a reseller, not XO itself. Probably a reseller? They don't know for sure that it wasn't them or they just don't want to admit to inserting ads?
You probably couldn't code your way out of a try-catch block. Does it make you feel good to resort to personal attacks? Do you feel smart when you say that? Your position is flawed and you know it.
What about Firefox 3, then? That is in beta and some that have used it almost prefer it over Firefox 2 saying it is faster and uses less memory. Would you like me to name other beta software that runs well on average hardware? Beta is not an excuse for terrible performance and absurdly high system requirements. "We started on this yesterday" isn't even a good excuse either. Crysis probably has higher framerates.
how hard is it to go to System -> Administration -> Screens and Graphics then pick the resolution, select which you want to be primary and secondary, select it's location (to the left, right, bottom, top) and press ok... Not hard! You're right, it isn't hard. Unfortunately, it doesn't do a damn thing for me. If I restart, I have to go back in and reset everything.
When you cited Page' ability to track changes as the reason iWork is better, that implies that Word can't track changes. Otherwise, your statement makes no sense. You can't say one is better than the other because they both do the same thing.
I think you both understand how CRTs change over time. What you are doing is calling him a liar because you have this moronic idea in your head that what you are saying is absolutely correct and can't possibly be wrong and you've already corrected yourself at least once. By calling him a liar and going blah blah blah, YOU are, in fact, wrong.
And I am NOT under any condition getting in one of those planes. Ever? No, I will maybe someday... if they are still flying in 10 years+ and Acid rain and airborne sand don't decay the wings into shreds. Do you honestly believe Boeing would knowingly make an unsafe aircraft?
For a second, I actually believed you use Vista or have used it. I just renamed Minesweeper with a single UAC prompt. Right after that, I deleted the DIVX icons from the All Users desktop with only 1 UAC prompt.
I haven't purchased a game in a while, but I was unaware you could choose what format the sound effects used. Oh wait, you can't. That for the developer to decide.

It has all the same applications, syncs with iCal, and I did forget about it not having a camera.
Why not reference Firefox? It has a large userbase and a well-known beta.
What makes you so sure I'm lying and don't know anything about writing programs? I have no reason to lie.
Clearly, you are talking out your ass. I'm sorry you don't hold your code to the same high standards to which I hold mine. You'll get better, hopefully.
We know that. The question is whether or not this will give ISPs common carrier status.

These kinds of problems should have been ironed out in Alpha. How many problems does GMail have? It is still in beta, too.
I hardly know anything about Java and I'm pretty sure I could write it and make it work better. Java is slow but that shouldn't be an excuse.

Word doesn't support change tracking? Really? What the fuck does the "Track Changes" button do, then?

Is that because you overpaid for them?

I had read about that being one of the changes but I've never had to do more than one UAC prompt for anything and I've had Vista since June.
I'm pretty sure the UAC prompt has those covered. So no, only one thing to click on, not three.

I thought my laptop ran XP well with 512MB but upping that to 1GB made a world of difference. It ran much faster.
It sounds like my mid-range 4 year old Pentium 4 laptop runs better with Vista than your newer and better desktops with XP.
