    P.S. Now I can go and buy a BD recorder. Just as I did with the first DVD Writer after deCSS.

    They are not socialists nor commonists nor democrats: They are "OLIGOPOLISTS", the leading edge of the system and thats's much worse. Extending their logic of "control" the next step is to automatically have your ISP auto-sue you for not following their advice. If given the possibility those oligopolists would go as far as automagically judge and fine you the appropriate damages (3fantastrillion dollars) taking them directly from your bank accounts.

    And this just for thinking of watching LOST which, BTW, is pure horseshit...

    First: As a matter of fact I personally know several of these subjects and I have to deal from time to time with their paranoia and mental deficiency. So I didn't need a research to start with; I have unfortunately personal experience.

    Secondly: In your post you are equaling piracy with drug consumption, that is not only offtopic as you say but also is pleasing to the media industry wich used more than once this association to make it look bad.

    Finally: Don't blame the article because it is "NEW". You should bring actual data to conterclaim its findings.

    In conclusion: Then next time try to equate piracy with pedofilia and terrorism, just to close the loop and make RIAA happy.

    Hello APOLOGIST. I suppose you blame the prosecution of simple possession. But possession exist in order to consume. I doubt someone keeps hash just to look at it....

    And when it gets consumed and abused it is SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN that it DAMAGES THE BRAIN. And I am talking just about hash wich is one of the lightest drugs out there.

    Of course I want to emphatize the fact that it is proven by scientists working on facts rather than some pot smoking retard glorifying the miracles of his marijuana crap on a personal website or blog.

    So when consumption it's done on a mass scale you get a society made up of amotivated morons with reduced mental capabilities. Isn't that more harmful than allowing piracy?

    It's great, maybe just a bit expensive.

    If you find yourself with a PC fucked up by vista oem install and need a upgrade to a sane OS I would consider that as a viable option. Specially if there is a copy of OSX lying around

    If they sell you "xMbps bandwith unlimited 24/7" and they plan to cap you then they have been committing at least misleading advertising. In my personal point of view this is more like a scam.

    Want additional proof? Send comcast a letter that states "I am going to pay with "ulimited money transfers" and write in the small print underneath that the payment is capped to a maximum of 9.99$/month due to bank congestion. I guess they won't find it funny.

    It gives you:

    * The strange feeling of knowing that all your rented files are now labelled with your domain signature and noone can steal them... and that's strange since you know that you don't really own them in the first place.
    * The absolute scrooge feeling that unlike CDs when you die noone could inherit any digital purchase from you.
    * The thrill of having to authorize your equipment on the net while hoping that your provider is not blocking the process
    * The joy of having to talk to someone in the industry just in case something goes wrong.
    * The final added incumbence of having to download the same shit once again but this time DRM free from P2P because your files won't work anyway at your friend's place and you really need them to party!

    I guess it's really worth the money...

    I can do it with any song on any CD I have bought since late 1982... and not just being limited to my "domain" I actually enjoyed swapping them with friends, lenting them and selling those I didn't like (of course same goes for DVD's).

    Guess these people need more than a bit of reality check before thinking into bullshitting their costumers. And if that is where the future of America is heading I see sad days coming.

    Actually... the plastics on the Macbook line are very prone to damage, so prone that they are exchanged under the applecare warranty, no question asked.

    I already ditched 2 keyboards and one bottom case from my macbook... I think that aluminium could be more eco-friendly in this case... specially because it can be recycled with ease.

    I have this problem everytime. It's hard for me to discriminate between a DVD rent at 4$ and a DRMed download at 9.99$ and still come out believing it's not a plain robbery. Good MPAA that's the way to go...
