Paypal behaves in some ways like a bank (They maintain monetary accounts for customers and allow the transfer to and from these accounts) but they are not classified as a bank and as such do not need to follow banking laws. This has led to Paypal doing things like locking a person or organizations account citing "suspicious behaviour" and offering no further explanation or directions as to how to get there account unfrozen forcing people to spend months of time and effort to get often times significant amounts of money back from Paypal.
This has got to be the largest amount of off topic posts I have ever seen on any article. Come on people were talking about giant rockets strapped to flying machines whizzing around with a hight probability of very large explosions, this is literally nerdvanda but the best you can come up with is all this useless drivel? I am very disappointed.
I personally think that the biggest problem they're going to have with this source code is people are now going to have far better bots. From my experience with EVE it is almost a perfect game to create a bot for.
So basically the problem the researchers have here is that they searched for suicide methods and got what they asked for? I'm not too sure what world they live in but in my world a search engine should return what I asked for now what some guy thinks I should be getting.
Just because you hate the messenger doesn't mean you should hate the message. Dixie Lee Ray may a complete asshat deserving nothing less then a slow painful death but that doesn't change the FACT that deaths attributed to malaria rose dramatically after people stopped using DDT and that because all that was left were resistant strains those resistant strains are everywhere now.
That's just plain wrong there's nothing forcing you to calculate physics or anything else for that matter at the same rate as the graphics systems, AI for instance may only be calculated once or twice a second and physics may be calculated 3 or 4 times as fast as the graphics. It just so happens that it can simplify the programming by searializing these operations rather then running them in seperate threads.
Ahem... It's not that its too far north to be habitable, It's that when you only have 30 million people it's kind of hard to fill up that much space. You can take any Canadian and stick him up there with nothing but a teabag and a pair of underwear and he'll be happy as fleas on a dog, we just like to be able to hang out with each other.
Not anymore now that you've gone and jinxed it jackass. Everyone knows that the moment someone states it should be a meme it automatically is disqualified. So now you've gone and ruined it and what could have been an amazing meme is now little more then a goddamn POS that will be forever copy and pasted by people who don't know any better.
This is a reply to your signature. But I believe the word "bad" has been stricken from the dictionary from now on you are advised to use "doubleplus ungood." Of course admitting to having been exposed to something ungood is sufficient reason to have you erased, you are hereby ordered to sit in front of your telescreen with your hands in plain sight until representatives from the Ministry of Truth arrive.
Speaking of which, I remember seeing a rather nifty POC for storing a rootkit in a video cards BIOS. I don't think anybody has taken advantage of it yet though.
I'll ignore the fact that IQ isn't actually a measurement of intelligence because it does happen to be useful as a rough benchmark. But idiot is defined as anyone with an IQ below 20 now on a bell curve with the average being 100 you will find profoundly few people who have an IQ of 20 or below. Now foolish people on the other hand, I see those all the time in fact I saw one just now.
Right because everyone who buys music on iTunes is a retard right? According to Wikipedia iTunes has sold over 4 billion songs and out now the 2nd largest music provider. (Walmart was first) Now I couldn't find the # of individual users but I think you've just called quite a few people idiots. My guess would be they just don't care, they have an iPod and they have iTunes and everything just fucking works they don't care about backing up or fair use they just want to buy some music and put it on their iPod.
Here in Ontario we have a nifty toll route called the 407 ETR and that does it all automatically either off of transponders in the vehicles or by reading the license plate at the on and off ramps and then sends the bill to your house.
We even still get a pronounceable acronym LAPP. It looks like the future is still rosy for the rest of us.

Open the beer with the car keys if in a bottle, or puncture can and shotgun it otherwise?

The cosine of an imaginary time sucks? I guess so, I sure wouldn't appreciate any math involving that.
WTF?

Or we could just stick to terms that everyone can understand that also sufficiently describe the phenomenon.
I prefer not to catch anything involving yout asshole.
~6 days given the 1 million km/h speed given to us by the article.

Because there not very exciting and consist mainly of about 20 males trying not to make eye contact with the 2 females?
Did you just complain about having to know what you are doing to use a product outside of idiot mode?

I have this sudden urge to mail CERN and tell them to prepare for unforeseen consequences.
