    Well you've got me, although I still standby my opinion that 88 errors is acceptable especially given that todays browsers aren't even standards compliant and allowances must be made for misbehaviour.

    Declaring XHTML and setting MIME-type to text/html is perfectly valid. As for 88 errors, just about any reasonably sized webpage will turn up plenty of errors, 88 sounds like a pretty small number compared to some webpages.

    Really? And why is that? I can't think of any reason for a software FPU to be tremendously slower, sure there's a bit more overhead but on the other hand a RISC processor will typically execute instructions far faster then a CISC. (faster in this case referring to the number of cycles needed to complete an instruction rather then the amount of actual time needed)

    The ARM7s are RISC CPUs, they do only a few instructions very fast and efficiently. That means that if you want an FPU you include one in software and if you don't then you also don't have to pay for one or have to power one saving you a pack of cash.

    Nah, Thermite would do the trick, in this case only the exterior was damaged the platters were still for the most part intact and hadn't gotten hot enough to erase the magnetic domains. Thermite on the other hand will reduce both the drive and the platters to a puddle of slag with absolutely no hope of recovery.

    Next Thunderstorm put on a suit of plate mail, go the to nearest high point, stick a large copper stake in the ground and attach it to the suit with a suitable piece of wire or chain and finally fly a kite. You should be fine since after all lightning strikes are completely random so the odds of it hitting you are basically nil.

    yes but bits are different then bytes, The whole system for referring to sizes, speeds and capacities in computers is horribly messed up. bits, bytes, base-2, base-10, base-16, MIPS, FLOPS, Hz it can all get a bit overwhelming for people who don't have a fair amount of knowledge about the differences.

    32 bit OSs CAN see 4 GB but anything beyond that your out of luck with the exception of a few VERY ugly hacks that came out shortly between the need for more the 4 GB and 64 bit processors.

    Just add a few more characters, using a full alphanumeric set with special characters will mean it takes 94x longer to bruteforce with every additional character. And to make it better you don't need to use the full set( although you should try to) you only need to make sure that the NSA thinks you do so that they will search it.

    It doesn't take a genius to realize that you could easily contract a passphrase that is invulnerable to all but sufficiently large amounts of cash.

    Have you ever tried absinthe? That is the real stuff that comes in $100+ with wormwood? I have had one shot of it which took alot of effort to get down and let me tell you that NOBODY is good at anything except perhaps freaking out after an absinte binge.

    WOW! What an epic failure of a blog post I mean they managed to completely take a fairly well reasoned posting by Scott Adams and turned him into the guy who looks at Satan and says he's not evil enough. They must have either been trying desperately to misinterpret him or only read every 5th sentence. As for the references to the cartoon strips, he's a freaking cartoonist he's supposed to draw things that are funny and even if you don't find them funny I do and the moment you laugh at a strip that makes fun of something someone else takes seriously you lose all right to complain. So smarten up and as previously advised get that goddamn sand out of your vagina.

    I absolutely understand the difference having plenty of experience with both, I guess what I should have said is that websites with overly complex server sides TEND towards also having overly complex client sides.

    Because such websites use excessive amounts on Javascript which can be difficult for translators and other accessibility systems to deal with in a sane manner.

    A critical distinction though is that after you enter the target into the planes computer you still need to hold the weapon release("pickle" switch) to allow the computer to drop the bomb. The computer may make the choice of exactly when to drop the bomb but a human still has complete control over the computer at the the time. These new robots take that human right out of the equation and are meant to operate without any human guidance.
