Curious question, what's wrong with the arrow keys? Having double height left/right does not make them harder to use IMHO.
And don't forget:
Digital Audio Out...NO
External battery indicator...NO
Proper escape key/proper function keys...NO
My Volvo manages to interrupt for Traffic Announcements even if I am listening to a different radio station than the one broadcasting the TA. I have also seen this in some of my older cars, but not all. All cars however have interrupted other sources than radio if a TA is broadcast.
Read the article, it says that most cars already have support for it. I imagine that they use the Traffic Announcement feature which is set to interrupt normal listening. I have used this function in cars from Ford, Volvo, VW, Toyota, Renault and Audi without issues. The last car I can remember using without this feature was my 1984 Mazda 323 with a factory mounted radio.
It is not stupid. All cars our family has owned for the last 20 years (8 cars, 4 different brands) have interrupted USB/BT/AUX/CD when an RDS Traffic Announcement is broadcast as long as this feature has been enabled in settings.
The iPhone has other drawbacks as lack of customization, lack of screen size choices, worse camera than the best competitors no waterproof alternative etc, but when it comes to actual app performance the iPhone 5s still beats all Android offerings giving a 100% lag-free experience.
Lower resolution and a more efficient OS without single-thread bottlenecks in the internal UI code gives the iPhone a faster and smoother user experience which also can be measured. The iPhone 5s still holds the top place in web browsing benchmarks even though it is one year old and has a CPU which is behind the competition.
It is difficult to comment on differences since Heml.is doesn't actually exist yet. But, one major difference is that Heml.is will exist as phone apps and there will be secure syncing of keys between devices.
CryptoCat is a web-based solution which doesn't sync private keys between devices.
Even when the kids are ready to handle installing apps for themselves they will still run as non-admin users, just like I do myself. They will receive the admin password for when they need to perform admin tasks.
I have given my kids restricted user accounts on their Windows computers and so far they haven't managed to infect the computers. Setting up a Windows machine with restricted accounts, Foxit reader as PDF reader, Chrome as web browser and flash block plugin installed has done the trick for me so far.
For the same price as a Mac I get a PC + iPad + spare change.
You can freely install desktop apps in Windows 8 just as you can install desktop apps on OSX. If you want new features such as Metro or iCloud-support then you must enter the walled garden which includes application sandboxing limiting what the applications can do.
Very few applications rely on knowing the exakt physical size. For all applications except virtual rulers and such it is the resolution which is important and Apple does not have to change if they decide to increase the screen by.5 in.
RAM is cheap unless you have an Apple Macbook or iMac. (Apple have put a limit of 4 or 8GB depending on model). In that case you need to buy a completely new computer. (Preferably a Linux or Win-box that doesn't have arbitrary limits in order to push sales of Mac Pro)
I have a Netgear CG3100 DOCSIS 3/EURO3 cable modem running at 100/10Mbit, but there is no IPv6 support in sight on the LAN as the ISP is supplying a firmware with IPv4 only.
I've used every Word version since 3.0 for DOS and I think that the 2007/2010 interface is the best yet. It requires some relearning, but one that hump is done it is easier to use.
Learning keyboard shortcuts is easier - just press ALT and the key combinations light up and if you are used to ALT-whatever+Letter menu shortcuts from 2003 and earlier they still work.
What's the problem? With a record high deficit it is obvious that spending must be decreased and income increased. Start by restoring taxes to pre-GWB level, make serious cutbacks in the department of homeland security and cut military expenditure by at least 10%. And stop harassing tourists and you might even get more of us visiting your country.
Then the healthcare sector also need an overhaul, but that will take longer before giving any budget effects I suspect.
What a lousy name. How are the customers supposed to know what the difference between 802.11a, 802.11ac etc is? Can't they use a better name like GigaWiFi?

VW has had that feature for years. Their 2.0 version also has bay parking. http://applefansite.com/2013/04/the-new-golf-parking-sensors/
It sucks that it doesn't work when trying to close pop-ups from pr0n-sites and I accidentally close the tab I want to see.

I haven't got a clue. However, I didn't seen any mentions of EFI-hacks when I googled before updating my MBP to 8GB.

You won't solve the problem with cutbacks alone. The discussion should not be 30 or 60bn dollars, it should be at least 200 or 300bn dollars.

If you like UltraEdit, why not use the Mac-version?
Modern double-clutch systems like VW's DSG-boxes have better fuel economy than manual gearboxes due to very fast gear change and intelligent software.
Sorry, no can do. iPhones have a fixed battery and special screws.

The pedestrian was also in an age group that pees or poops themselves when out walking.
For me Bing is vastly inferior to Google since it sucks at prioritizing matches after the location you're at. (at least if you are a non-US user)
Apple tried - and failed fortunately. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Computer,_Inc._v._Microsoft_Corporation
